I don’t know about where you all live, but this week we had some near Fall-like weather! Windows closed, sweatshirts and even the furnace was turned on for 1 morning…
Yikes!!! Too soon Mother Nature, too soon…
While there weren’t too many new sales this Friday there were lots of new items on the shelves. A big welcome back to the fall “Bulbs are Easy” selection (I bought some more tulips for next year!)
We planted some last fall and it was so nice to see them come up, of course at that point of the spring it was near the start of the COVID-19 lockdown here so a little surprise burst of color was much needed, but no reason not to add to next years tulip party!
You could also see the summer stock is starting to hit the clearance rack and diminish in quantity, so when you see that Coleman Arrowhead 7-person tent drop in price you’d better grab it!
(And once they’re gone I’ll take my Halloween decorations please!)
Also ummm, Eggo waffle cereal??? Sounds dangerous to me…
The temptation to pour maple syrup on that would be too great to resist, thus I don’t think I will be trying those. But I’m happy to hear if anyone else has tried them!
So is Dexter, he’d like to know if he’ll be sampling the milk out of the bowl anytime soon.
I told him “No” and now he won’t look at me… Actually the cats seem to be quite aware of me anytime I try and take a picture of them, always getting up or moving as soon as I get into position. I think for every good picture I have of them there are 8 or 9 that are indistinguishable freeze frames of out of focus fur, they are finicky models.

An FYI.
New Costco gas bar in Gloucester, ON. Opened last Thursday – 24 pumps!!!
New store is opening on August 27th.
Eggo cereal? Right up there with the birthday cake cereal…. a whole lotta empty calories and no staying power 🙄! And I’m with you for sure when it comes to maple syrup…. yum yum yum 😋!!! Ok now I’m hungry, thanks a lot lol.
Those mask for kids look interesting…. I’m starting to think beyond the disposable ones for the long haul and getting overwhelmed by research. Maybe I’ll just stay home.
