Costco fans, doesn’t it feel like we’ve turned the page to Spring finally? Maybe???
Seems to be that way here, although I heard we were getting rain and snow tomorrow?!?! Look I love snow, but I feel like we’ve finally made our way to the other side so I’ll stick with the rain thank you very much… I’ll take all the April showers you can throw at me as a matter of fact. I love those days where it’s just pouring down rain all day, something relaxing about it…Makes you want to stay in and watch movies all day… And you can watch one of the best movies of ALL TIME “CLUE”
For some reason watching this movie while it’s raining just feels right… I guess it’s the whole atmosphere of the who-done-it-mystery genre, a dark and stormy night tends to lend itself well to those story lines. The murder mystery that has a plethora of potential outcomes, was it Col. Mustard? Mrs. White? Mrs. Scarlett?? The cook?!?! I don’t think there’s enough room in this blog to go over all the best parts of this movie, from the characters, the actors, set design, story… I just… I even have a special coffee mug that one of my favorite chefs had made for me with the quote “Mrs. Peacock was a man?!?!” (fans of the movie will know the scene.)
Classic!!! And I still love and use the mug (today for example!) So yes, this movie has a few places in my heart that are special- from the memories to the mugs- A great time!
(If you haven’t seen it, go out of your way to find it and watch it!!!)
Those are good things to know. www.GasBuddy.com is a great way to find the best deal in town so I usually check it out a few times a week to see where prices are at.
At this point it’s time to go… I had a six day work week, my car is still in the shop after the mechanic took a trip to the hospital (he’s OK) after taking as he called it “a blow to the head that needed a few staples” so… I guess I’m walking to work tomorrow! let’s hope that rain/snow situation waits ’till I’m there.
As always thank you for reading and for your support!
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.
If there is something you really want, ***double check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.
