Hello and welcome to another beautiful August weekend folks!

As the days and weeks fly by Costco keeps shuffling it’s inventory to keep up with the coming seasons. Summer items tend to make their way tot he back of the store and hit clearance prices, like the Coleman arrowhead 8 person tent for $149.97 & the Coleman sleeping bag 2 pack for $39.97, while back to school/fall items start to appear i.e Halloween costumes!

Even some winter items have arrived such as Snowsuits and these XMTN Winter boots for $39.99

I know it’s weird to think about snowsuits and winter boots at this point, but the prices are pretty hard to beat. Still, let’s do fall first before we get to winter.

It’s been bananas around here so I haven’t had a chance to take many pictures of the Kitties, but rest assured Dexter and Ewok are doing just fine… Mostly sleeping out on the hot back deck! (though Dexter has been getting some walks in, he needs to drop a few of his quarantine pounds still… Though maybe I do as well, hmmmm)

Anyhow it’s bed time folks, you know where the sales are.

Night night!

As we are all getting back to normal I think it’s important to remember that we’re not out of the weeds yet, and each province has their own Health recommendations based on the provinces individual risk assessment and I would recommend that you follow the recommendations for your specific province. Information can be found at the following websites.

Ontario COVID-19 information

Quebec COVID-19 information

Newfoundland COVID-19 information

P.E.I. COVID-19 information

New Brunswick COVID-19 information

Nova Scotia COVID-19 information

So there you go, a little reading material for you.

Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.

If there is something you really want, ***double check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.

The food brands available can differ from region to region. Pictures are taken at a store in Ontario. Sale items should apply to Costco locations in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Nova Scotia, if the item is in stock at your store. There will likely be a few deals not shown here in your store. If this blog has helped you save money, consider sharing www.cocoeast.ca with your friends and family! If you see deals at your store that aren’t on this blog, post them in the comments and help spread the money saving love!

  1. Those animal backrests look sooo cute! Last Christmas I bought a sit-on llama at Costco for my 8 month old great niece and she loved it! Maybe she “needs” another critter to love? No no. I will not start Christmas shopping. Will not.
    😉

    • Jan this is the best time to get shopping started!!! Take the pressure off and get some items checked off your list, we don’t know how things will look in the winter either right??? Better safe this year I think.

  2. Lot’s of ground beef on sale. Visions of chili, shepherd’s pie, taco’s, meatloaf, lasagna, burgers and of course mince and tatties.

I should buy that pack of pens, almost every pen I grab lately has no ink.

I wish Duracell would make a package of batteries with half AA and half AAA. I know they think people will purchase the two different packs but I think they’d sell more if they divided them up in one pack.

Thanks very much for all the effort you go to bringing us this excellent blog, much appreciated by all.

Stay safe and keep cool everyone 🙂

    • Thank you Layla Bay!
A half & half pack would be a great idea! But yes, they want you to buy the big packs… At least they’re on sale right now though, so time to stock up on ’em!
And it is fast approaching the season of delicious chili and Shepherds pie…. yum!!!
Stay safe and healthy Layla Bay.
