We are just barreling towards the Christmas season, which means sooner than later (likely in the next week or 2) we will getting our Christmas tree!
That’s always one of my favorite things, I love the smell of Christmas trees & it really helps get me into the spirit of the Holidays.
Watching A Christmas Story would be on that list too! What are some of your favorite Christmas movies??? You first, I’ll share my list on Monday.
That being said, this is a also good time of year to check batteries in smoke alarms and make sure they are all working properly. Costco has the Kidde Smoke & CO alarms on sale right now, so a great chance to update your home fire safety.
While I like my advent calendar, I never really though that maybe a dog would like one too… I mean why wouldn’t they? A new treat everyday for an entire month?!
Seeing this Irish Dog Advent calendar made me think where’s the Kitty Advent calendar??? Dexter and Ewok would like to know.
They are not impressed folks.

Another neat item that popped out at me me were these cute little recipe flash card tins.
They’re pretty cute and kind of seem a little old school too. Might make a great little gift or stocking stuffer for someone!
And here’s where I say “OK folks, I think I’ll let you take over from here” You all know the drill by now.

Costco Online bookings for the flu shot are now available!
It’s true folks, you can make an appointment online to get a flu shot at your Costco warehouse during your normal shop, or plan your shopping trip around the flu shot… Either way it’s a win!

As we are headed in to the second wave of COVID-19 and kids are heading back to school I think it’s important to remember that we’re not out of the corona virus weeds yet, and each province has their own Health recommendations based on the provinces individual risk assessment and I would recommend that you follow the recommendations for your specific province. Yeah Ilona those emails are great! KN95 masks 20 for $19.99, that’s half price! I’m tempted but that would be breaking my own rule about shopping there on weekends…… too busy! The warehouse has good Covid protocols set up but most shoppers are so totally oblivious. I saw a woman stop and block an aisle with her cart, pull down her mask and stick a finger in her mouth to chew on her finger nail. As kindly as possible, I asked her to please put her mask back on but I really wanted to say “something else”. Lol 😝
