What can I say, it’s a beautiful Friday evening here & and Costco has released a handful or two of fresh sales to devour!
Just like we devoured some of our first radishes!
These 3 popped up a little early & it felt great to get our first “harvest” from our garden box. First of many I hope/imagine!
What sales are sprouting at Costco this weekend you say???
Well you could get your oral hygene fix with Crest 3D white toothpaste 5 x 135ml for $4.00 off and G.U.M. soft-picks advanced 270 ct. for $4.00 off to complete the routine. ( I tried those G.U.M. soft picks this week, and liked them a lot! Easy to use, really good reach, and the feel great on your gums!)
Or look ahead to your Sunday morning, (or any of these quarantine mornings) and spice up your Caesars with some delicious Tabasco sauce (350ml) -$2.00 @ 6.79. And really who doesn’t like a spicy Caesar???
Perhaps you’d rather do your best Seinfeld imitation by having a cupboard full of any of these Kellogg’s cereals on sale right now.
Mini-Wheats -$2.00 @ 7.99 , Frosted Flakes -$2.00 @ 6.99 and Fruit Loops -$2.00 @ 6.99
(always stocked with cereal Seinfeld is…)
Also, did anyone else know that it was national Donut/Doughnut day???
I didn’t until halfway through the day, but then was presented with the first choice of Donuts at work. I took the Cruller obviously. Sprinkled and chocolate glazed are a close second, but nothing beats a cruller.
There’s still time to enter into the L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara contest (if you haven’t already) Just head over to our review by clicking this link to find out how to enter!
The contest closes on the 7th, so there’s still time folks!
As we are all getting back to normal I think it’s important to remember we’re not out of the weeds yet, and each province has their own Health recommendations based on the provinces individual risk assessment and I would recommend that you follow the recommendations for your specific province. Information can be found at the following websites.
Newfoundland COVID-19 information
New Brunswick COVID-19 information
Nova Scotia COVID-19 information
So there you go, a little reading material for you.
As always wash your hands with soap and water often, pet cats & tell them they’re cute, and stay safe and healthy!
Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.
If there is something you really want, ***double check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.
***This is a fan run, independent page with no affiliation or endorsement by Costco Wholesale***
The food brands available can differ from region to region. Pictures are taken at a store in Ontario. Sale items should apply to Costco locations in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Nova Scotia, if the item is in stock at your store. There will likely be a few deals not shown here in your store. If this blog has helped you save money, consider sharing www.cocoeast.ca with your friends and family! If you see deals at your store that aren’t on this blog, post them in the comments and help spread the money saving love!
Since I don’t have any kitties, I wash my hands, pet my husband and tell him he’s cute. Works for me. 😉
I buy Sikorski cold cuts at my grocery store and have always been impressed with their consistently good quality. So seeing sausages offered at Costco is great! Maybe I’ll try one or two before committing to a kilogram!
And btw, those radishes look amazing!!! 😋
Well thank you Jan! They tasted amazing too! Can’t wait to harvest them all!!!
Jan you should, then you can let me know how they are! It’s a commitment for sure, so if you have an inside track… Keep me posted!
You will not be disappointed with Sikorski’s Debrecynas. We buy them all the time at the local deli (Starsky’s). They are a family favourite on the BBQ or even steamed when the weather doesn’t cooperate.
Thank you Sue, thats 2 good reviews for those now so I think I’ll give ’em a go!
