CONTEST #2 : L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Facecare & Extraordinary Oils haircare triple review #ad

The Costco East & West Fan Blogs have partnered with L’Oréal Paris to help them promote the Revitalift Triple Power LZR day moisturizer & 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid serum as well as the Extraordinary Oil Shampoo and Conditioner which have recently launched at Costco Warehouses Canada-wide.

This is a paid promotion and all opinions are my own… And my partners opinion… And the opinions of Co-workers who happen to be excellent testers. So with that being said, I would never promote a product that I didn’t sample and believe in. (We’ve been using it for a while now too!)

So on that note a big thanks to everyone who takes the time to read this, and thank you to my reviewers!

L’Oréal Revitalift Triple Power LZR face cream & 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid serum & Extraordinary Oil Shampoo and Conditioner

As life goes back to normal, it looks like I will need to get back in the habit of looking well-groomed and presentable on a daily basis.  Thankfully, L’Oréal Paris is here to help.  We’ve been asked to try out their Revitalift 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum & Day Moisturizer as well as their Extraordinary Oil shampoo and Conditioner.  My partner and I were happy to oblige, obviously.  Keep reading to find our thoughts on using these.

We applied the serum first, which was pretty straightforward with the convenient dropper applicator.

L'OrealRevitalift 1.5% H.A. Serum

A little bit goes a long way here folks, 3 drops each easily covered our faces. It felt smooth, not greasy  and spread really easily. I noticed even after just a few days the skin around my eyes and cheeks looked and felt smoother. This will certainly last a while too as you don’t need to use much at all.

The Revitalift Triple Power LZR face cream was a hit! Neither me, or my partner like heavy thick creams and this was not that at all. It felt really light while moisturizing, and more luxurious than what we have been using. And  it seems a little bit does go a long way, and that is never a bad thing!

It goes on smooth, has a nice light texture and absorbs easily into the skin. It almost felt like I could feel it working its way in and firming up my skin, hydrating all the dry areas, and after working outside cutting and burning brush for 9 hours we were pleasantly surprised how much less exhausted we looked than we felt. Not only my skin felt firmer, it was also plumped with hydration and my skin seemed brighter. I can’t wait to see the results on my wrinkles in the next week!

Something else I really liked was the packaging.

L'Oreal Revitalift LZR moisturizer & serum

The day moisturizer jar felt thick and the lid locks on nice and tight & the same can be said about the Revitalift Triple Power Hyaluronic Acid serum. They both felt pretty sturdy, luxurious and not like something that was going to get knocked over easily. (As both of us are prone to do with things) And no one likes to clean up face cream or oils off the floor when you’re trying to get ready for the day… It’s just no fun, it’s the skin care equivalent of burning the toast.

Speaking of burned, as much as I love bon fires and camp fires etc. etc. the “next day” smell is not something I’m a fan of. Thankfully, I’ve got L’Oréal’s Extraordinary Oil shampoo and conditioner to help me with that problem. It replaces it with a rich sort of hazelnutty scent, not too strong but a welcoming aroma.

The shampoo isn’t super heavy or oily, it didn’t goop up in my hand like a few others seem to- it seemed pretty fluid & it certainly didn’t take much to work it up into a rich lather. It also rinses away pretty easily, leaving my hair clean without heaviness or greasiness.

The conditioner was thick and creamy. It rinses out really easily & helps control the extra poof in my hair, which is especially helpful given I can’t seem to get a hair cut for some reason… Oh right, Pandemic!  My partner agrees; with her hair growing longer (and not wanting me to cut it for some reason) this seems to detangle strands effortlessly.

With all these products combined, it looks like I will come out of this quarantine looking way better than when I went into it! Well, at least my face and my hair will.
