In the Wednesday Super Post I pick an entire section of Costco and take pictures of ALL of the items for you see!
Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.
If there is something you really want, ***double check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.

I took a stroll through one of my favorite sections for this weeks superpost, why you ask? Who doesn’t like cheese?
Collier’s Welsh cheddar is one of 2 staple cheddars we get (Kerrigold is in there too! Read that review post here), and what respectable Greek salad doesn’t have crumbled feta on it?!
Boursin almost straddles the line between a cheese and a dip; no knife required, just a crispy cracker! And Brie could be a standalone deliciously creamy cheese, or you could bake it and more or less it becomes a dip! (Equally delicious!)
As an avid condiment user dips like hummus and salsa are pretty much required when there’s chips and crackers around.
This Sriracha Carrot dip was a new one I saw this week, and got to have a little sample (or two, I may have swooped back around for a second helping!) And it was delicious!
Though I was hoping for a more “sriracha-y” kick, it was still tasty.
I’m of course also a fan of charcuterie and cured meats, and Costco has supplied a great many gatherings with some delicious salty meats!
You can’t go wrong with any of those, though I think I enjoyed the Gio Italian pack quite a bit. Guess I’ll have to get one and make sure…
There’s lot’s more to check out though, so I’ll let you get to it! Besides I’m craving crackers and hummus now for some reason…
Have a great night folks, see you on Friday!
Don’t forget to check in with Rhonda over at the Costco Quebec Fan Blog and see what fun sales are happening there!
You’re makin’ me hungry…. thanks! 😛
I had the 44th Street pot roast over mashed potatoes last night for dinner and it really is quite good!
It’s a heckuva lot less work than pot roast from scratch, it’s very quick and the taste is very close to homemade. My husband, who is very judicious about pre-made food products, thought it was good. Whew! 😁
A success overall then!
I haven’t tried the 44th street products yet, but I can say that the Stoney Creek shaved beef au jus was great when I made it into a “cheese steak” style sandwich. Pot roast over mashed potatoes does sound pretty good… Now your making me hungry Jan!
Thanks for this. Love cheese and often buy it at Costco. My faves are: Dubliner, Collier’s Welsh cheddar, Bellavitano Merlot and Balderson Reserve. I also love the triple cream brie and parmigiano reggiano but both are too big a pack for me to get through before they go off.
I sampled a new one at the Barrhaven store – Natrel lactose-free extra-sharp cheddar. They served it melted between tortilla layers and it is delicious! Unfortunately, it too is too large a package for a 1-person household, at least 1kg, so will check other grocery stores. (It was in the refrigerator area with butter, etc., if I recall correctly.)
I also bought Connie’s feta and spinach sausages the other day. I hadn’t bought them in a while and am always looking for quick protein sources. I had one on a toasted baguette with melted cheddar and sauteed peppers. Yum!
Thanks again for your efforts!
Hi Susan! Yes I know what you mean about the packs being too big, but you can portion them up and freeze them. I’ve been doing that quite a bit lately, the food saver is a dream for that! Dubliner and Collier’s are awesome, though I haven’t tried the Bellavitano before, it always looks good. It’s been a while since I’ve had those sausages, but I do remember them being pretty tasty… I’m pretty sure I brought some to work and make tacos with them a few years ago and they were good!
Searching for the Natrel cheddar, I see that you featured it in your Feb. 24th to 26th post. (It came up in the 2nd row of a Google images search, BTW.)
Dang! Per Natrel’s site, Costco is the only retailer carrying the extra-sharp cheddar! Might have to buy it anyway, cut it into chunks and freeze some.
Okay, last comment for today! 🙂

Mission accomplished! 👍

I took those pics in the Kingston warehouse Susan, can you find it online?
