RECALL NOTICE: Quaker Granola Bars & Quaker Harvest Crunch for Salmonella

Hey there folks!

Quaker Canada announced a voluntary recall on granola bars and Harvest Crunch cereals due to the potential exposure of salmonella. This is the direct result of a recall initiated today in the United States by the Quaker Oats Company. They’re also doing the recall in Canada out of an abundance of caution and commitment to the well being of our Canadian consumers.

I’ve highlighted the four items sold at Costco which are affected by this recall.  Please check the website below to determine if your product’s Best Before dates fall within the recall period.  It looks like Quaker Canada is recalling any of the affected products with a “Best Before” date between Jan 11 2024 to Jul 9 2024.  This means you should be going into your pantry to see if you have any leftover product.

Costco will of course take returns on any unfinished product with or without a receipt, so make sure you take back any recalled product for a full refund.
