Hello and Happy Friday Costco weekend warriors.
The weekend is full of great sales and lots of new items as well.
Like the Go-Go Quinoa gluten free spaghetti (1kg for $9.99), it’s been probably close to a year since Costco had gluten free spaghetti so we’re pretty happy about that! (now I can stock up before it disappears again.) The best way to cook Gluten free pasta (and it seems to work for all of them so far) is to pre-cook it per the directions, strain it and do the unthinkable… Rinse it with plenty of cold water until all the strands have separated and the noodles are cold. Then just before youre ready to eat pour boiling water over the noodles (still in the strainer) and then add the sauce. They’ve turned out pretty well perfect every time.
Presto parabolic electric heat dishes are back (I know the weather is still nice now and a month ago talking about a heat dish would be treason!) and I can tell you these are the best heat dishes you can buy, even at their current price of $89.99. I tried 3 or 4 of them last year in our studio and these were way way better. I have 2 of them, believe me I plan on getting another 2.
The Lifetime soccer net and the Coleman 2 pack of sleeping bags both had a big price drop this weekend. With the Lifetime Soccer Goal dropping $40 to $49.94 and the sleeping bags dropping $10 to $29.97. Great deal for the soccer net, especially if you’ve got the space I mean you could still squeeze in 2 months of running around out there!
And if you were looking for non-contact thermometers now is probably a good time to grab one!
Here’s where I’ll say something like “now I’m gonna head off to bed and let you scroll down to check out all the awesome new items and sales at Costco for the weekend”
Thanks Buddy, I did indeed.
G’night folks, see you soon!
As we are all getting back to normal I think it’s important to remember that we’re not out of the weeds yet, especially with school starting again and each province has their own Health recommendations based on the provinces individual risk assessment and I would recommend that you follow the recommendations for your specific province. Special Operating Hours for Members Ages 60 or Older
- Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.* Costco will temporarily implement special operating hours for members who are 60 and older or who have a physical disability. The pharmacy will also be open during this hour; however the food court will maintain its normal operating schedule. Find a Costco location near you.
So there you go, a little reading material for you.
Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.
If there is something you really want, ***double check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.

The food brands available can differ from region to region. Pictures are taken at a store in Ontario. Sale items should apply to Costco locations in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Nova Scotia, if the item is in stock at your store. There will likely be a few deals not shown here in your store. If this blog has helped you save money, consider sharing www.cocoeast.ca with your friends and family! If you see deals at your store that aren’t on this blog, post them in the comments and help spread the money saving love!
Wow, since your Monday’s post, I had the Crockpot purchase scheduled between Oct 12 to 25 @ $44.99…but your today’s post will make me save an additional $20.02!!! Just called a local “friendly” Costco and they told me which one I can purchase it from at this price. Sorry, gotta go to Costco! LOL Thank you for your prompt weekend edition, it’s much appreciated! 🙂
That’s great JoseeM, I have that crock pot and while we don’t use it ofen when we have used it it’s been great!
Thank you very much for the weekend update, I’m going to Costco this afternoon.
Just watched the Barefoot Contessa make Cesar Swordfish, that Prairie Gourmet wild rice would go perfectly with that!
That sure is a good price for bread, I should stock up for winter.
Stay safe and enjoy your long weekend 🙂
Mmmmmm Cesar Swordfish… That sounds like it could also be a villain in a James Bond movie!
Stay Safe and healthy Layla Bay! Thank you for reading and supporting as always.
Haha you’re posting Elf clips already . Christmas on your mind?
Well after Sept. Halloween and Christmas are the next big things!
Are the shopping hrs starting at 8 am for Cdns 60 & older just for the weekend or for weekdays as well moving forward? I’d go at the earlier time if so.
Hope that Crockpot is still that price this coming week as mine just conked out.
Hey Bellringer, those shopping hours are 7 days a week effective until Sept. 14th at which point they are subject to change. If they do change though I’ll be letting people know on the blog for sure.
