Welcome to the Costco Weekend Sales Update where I’ll keep you all in the loop on the awesome sales Costco releases for the Weekend! I’ll post them here and on our Facebook page for you to enjoy.
Costco was bananas when I arrived, the line was halfway down the store though it moved quickly.
I gotta say it was a little surreal to be strolling through the previously blocked aisles, taking in all the sales that were otherwise out of reach.
For the most part it seemed organized chaos, although the clothing section was a little difficult to get through and holy moly it looked like a tornado ran through by the time I got there even though the staff were trying to fold and straighten things up as fast as they could.
Anyhow take a quick peek at some of the sales below.
*
Samsung Galaxy tab s7+ 128 GB black -$370.00 @ $999.99
Apple Airpods pro -$13.00 @ $248.99
Thermoflask water bottle pack of 2 $6.00 @ $21.99
Lagostina cookware set 11 pieces -$40.00 @ $139.99
KitchenAid dish drying rack -$6.00 @ $20.99
Puma mens sneakers mens sizes 8 – 12 $19.99 @ $19.99
So nice to see electronics and kitchenware back on the preview!
Today also marked the first day of re-opening the restaurant for patio seating, and that was organized chaos!
We were ready though, and we got through it with no scrapes or bruises and only a few small mistakes but hey, I know what to do with a beer that was rung in accidentally!
What this also means is that I had a long day at Costco, and a long night at the restaurant and I’ll have a long brunch/morning service tomorrow… So I’m exhausted, and I’m sure you’d much rather see all the awesome weekend sales rather than me ramble on.
So you all go and check out the goods, I’m gonna go and join Ewok who is currently doing what I should be doing.
Have a safe weekend folks, be kind and bring your patience with you wherever you may wind up as there’s bound to be line-ups to get in, and staff who are shaking off 7 or 8 weeks of rust.
Stay calm and Costco on!

COVID-19 vaccinations are ramping up across Eastern Canada, follow the links below to find out if you’re eligible and where they are available in your Province.
Since we are still in the third wave of COVID-19 I think it’s important to remember that we’re not out of the corona virus weeds yet, and each province has their own Health recommendations based on the provinces individual risk assessment and I would recommend that you follow the recommendations for your specific province. Information can be found at the following websites.
So there you go, a little reading material for you.
Be kind, be safe and stay healthy!
Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.
If there is something you really want, ***double check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.

Thank you for going and reporting back about the crowds and re-opening. The roku box: has anyone bought this from Costco? Is the price good? Do you like this product? Would you recommend it? Thank you.
There was a segment last week on CH Morning Live with Marc Saltzman. He was talking about the Roku and said it was a good item especially for the price.
What to do with a beer that’s been rung in accidentally?? Heck I’m not in the resto biz and even I know that answer…. ya drink it! Right? 😝 🍺
I knew I could count on you for a blow by blow description of my favourite shop spot. I *wanted* to go on Friday but when I heard the day before, that employees were calling it the upcoming Armageddon, I took a pass and went to IKEA instead 😂! It was a complete breeze, no lineups and a new “as is” section (my personal fave) with tons of bargains. I ran into a friend there, who works at the Stoney Creek Costco, and she said that Friday morning was a complete zoo. Apparently staff couldn’t get customers to socially distance in the clothing section so they had to resort to using a bullhorn and roping off the area to restrict admittance! I love me a good bargain but that’s freekin’ nuts 🙄! So glad I avoided it…. maybe next week?!
Cheers and muchas gracias, Jan
Thank you for posting. Hope you enjoyed some Ewok snuggles. Good luck today!
Thank you Carla, I certainly did enjoy some.

Thank you Ilona, it was a crazy day for sure!
My goodness you had a long and busy day!! So many photographs!!
Love the shots of Ewok, so cute!!
Hope today is just as good at the restaurant!
Thank you!
Hey Jennifer, are those the sheets you wanted?
Hey Jan, yes they are, but I ended up purchasing them online about a month ago 🙂
Thanks Jennifer, it was a long weekend but we all survived!
We drove by our Costco and kept on driving! Bananas is right! It was a zoo! We’ll be back when things cool off a bit.
I can’t say I blame you, I think it’s calmed down a bit now.
Love your posts. Would love to go to your restaurant too. What is it called? We are about 2 hrs from Kingston but hope to get there someday soon!!
I am at Dianne’s fish shack and smokehouse Lori, the best fish and chips in town!

Hahahaha, oh man I think that that should just be what they do always for the clothing section. I’d just stand and watch for fun.
“be kind and bring your patients with you” — a nice thought, but I doubt if many doctors would be willing to do this. 😉
Hahaha got it.
Good one Larry! 🤣 I noticed that too and was trying to think of a witty comment. You nailed it!! 👊🏻
You’re 100% right Jan!
Hahaha, yes… I agree with you Larry and I’m sorry I suggested such an activity!
Hahaha got it.
Which location do you visit to show these deals? My local Costco does not have some of them .
