This post is a little shorter than usual because I wasn’t really sure where to fit this section in! So for now it’ll have it’s own, but might be squeezed into another section later on. In the mean time there’s plenty of delicious wine and some refreshing beers to take a look at!
My taste in beer is pretty simple. Cold, clean and refreshing… Not a huge fan of hoppy, fruity or sours… Lager and pilsner are my go to.
In terms of wine, well… I’ve been all over the map, I used to love big, rich California cabs, but as I got older my tastes changed and I started enjoying simpler and lighter French wines, and some Argentinian as well.
These days I’m not really drinking much wine, with the exception of the WSET course I’m taking, but I will say that Thirty bench does have some great wines. The riesling wouldn’t have been up my alley, but they make a few winemaker red blends that are outstanding!
And of course how can you go wrong with a delicious bottle of Veuve Clicquot? You can’t really, it’s delicious!
Though I definitely wouldn’t be using it for your brunch mimosas, maybe go for a prosecco like this instead.
And what brunch is a brunch without a good ‘ol classic Caesar? It isn’t a brunch at all!
I’m more of a “make it from scratch” kind of guy, but sometimes the pre-made stuff hits the spot pretty well.
