While I did have a great time in Montreal, and a blast checking out the Costco warehouse at 300 Rue Bridge, it’s always nice to get back home. Plus the kitties missed me!
At least I think they did?
Maybe if I’d brought home the Lazy Kitty air-dried cat treats they would’ve at least got out of the bed to say hello to me?!
I’d ask if anyone has tried these before, but what I should ask is has anyone’s cats have tried these before, and if so how do they like them? But hey if you’ve tried them and like them, I’m sure your cats will too, right?
Maybe? Maybe not? I don’t know, neither does Larry David.
The weather is beautiful and Costco has it’s garden center in full effect! So I had a great time browsing around outside.
They had tomatillos in stock finally, so I picked up some of those and green onions as well.
We’re still trying to plan our veggie garden out, so I resisted the urge to pick up more tasty little friends but those 2 are on the list so they came home with me.
Scotts Supreme grass seed is on sale for $6.00 off.
I had pretty good results with this last year, and the lawn is in need of a little thickening up in a few spots so I grabbed a bag. Now if only I could get this to work on my hair…
Nope… But least the vegges and grass will grow.
Seeing as there’s 252 sales to check out, I’ll let you all go.
But before I go I wanted to say thank you for enjoying the Weekend Update post from Montreal, it was a really cool experience for me to see a new warehouse in a different province with different items. And a WHOLE lotta delicious lookin’ cheese!
Anyhow, time for y’all to check out the sales. Enjoy folks!, and just in case you forgot…
Be kind, be safe and stay healthy!
Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.
If there is something you really want, ***double check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.

I really enjoy your blog and look forward to all your emails. I love to scroll through and take my time looking at several sale items. In the last month or so, I have not been able to enjoy it because of pop up advertisements. Every few seconds, a huge pop up will appear and block my view of your posted sale items. There is no “x” to get rid of it. Sometimes I can see a tiny x in bottom right hand corner but it doesn’t work to get rid of it. The pop up stays for several seconds then I start to scroll and a different pop up appears. So frustrating! Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?
Hi Cindy, thank you for reading the blog and supporting me, I really appreciate it! I am sorry to hear about your frustrations with the pop up ads, can you tell me if your browser is zoomed in? I’ve heard that sometimes browsers have been zoomed in causing the smaller ads to take up a huge portion of the screen. If you hold down CTRL and scroll back on your mouse wheel you should be able to zoom out. Can you give that a try for me?
I think you missed the point. The facts suggest she is upset with the pop up ads regardless of size. I think you should take the hint. BTW I’m upset with the ads also.
And what’s your point Sheldon? This is a free service which many of us truly appreciate… with or without the ads. If you’re “upset”, you have a choice. Please take MY hint.
I really don’t understand what pop ups everyone is talking about because I do not get them on my desktop (only one at the bottom which I close) in my browser. I am able to view everything no problem. I am using google chrome browser. Thank you for everything that you do.
Note: I also just tried my phone just in case and it’s the same there…no issues. Iphone 12.
Thank you! I do not have a desktop or laptop computer, however, after reading your reply, I realized the problem is related to my outdated iPhone ( iOS 12.5). I tried my husband’s newer iPhone and I still see pop ups but they do not interfere with my view of the sale items 👍
I looked on Costco.ca and the the same Snaplock set is sold there. There’s no mention of “glass” and it says “bpa free” which refers to plastic. They also sell a Glasslock set which does state “glass” in the description. So Ima thinkin’ they’re plastic! I’ll try to remember to check them out this week and let you know for sure…. if I remember…. 🤔
Hope this helps! Cheers, Jan
My big C shop today was interesting. I haven’t been in a couple of weeks and noticed a huge difference… masked people are now definitely in the minority (I’m one of them), women’s shoe display all knocked over, a guy at customer service returning beef medallions because they’re wrapped in bacon. Wtf??? It was all I could do to bite my tongue 😛🙄
Anyhoo, I got some sandals, garden clogs, ferns begonias, coleus and spent nearly $300. How the heck did that happen? Lol
Cheers y’all and enjoy the 🌞! Woohoooo
I hear ya Jan. I’m still wearing my mask when I go into places, but here in Kingston it still seems to be about half and half. Ummm, you went to Costco, that’s how that happens! It’s a struggle for me, but since I’m there so often it seems to be one or two items. You enjoy the sun too, sounds like you’ve got some gardening to do in your new clogs!
First off thank you for everything you do. It’s greatly appreciated😊. I’ve just rejoined after many years and was wondering if there are any flyers etc mailed to your home by Costco?
Also, would you know if our Costcos carry wired ribbon like they do in the states?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Marilene, coupons along with the “Costco Connection” magazine are mailed out to executive members. It’s a perk for paying the higher membership fee.
I only recall seeing wired ribbon at Christmas time.
Cheers and welcome back!
Just curious if anyone else has spotted the T3 featherweight hairdryer at that price ($49.97) in the GTA area? I really want that hairdryer but it was regular price at my local Costco. Thanks!!

Thank you! I look forward to your posts every Tuesday morning! Does anyone know if the Snaplock food storage containers are glass or plastic?
Pretty sure these are plastic

Hey Emily, I’ll try to remember to check my Burlington warehouse but that might be a bit far for you, given the price of gas! 🙄
