Welcome everybody to a special weekend update! Special you say? Indeed I do!

I’m on a little business trip this weekend in Montreal, and when in Montreal why not go to the Costco warehouse there, right? That’s what I thought as well!

It was my first time in a non-Ontario Costco, so I was very excited to see all of the different items available… Of which there were hundreds!!!

I couldn’t even imagine being around all of that delicious cheese all of the time, I mean I’d need a separate cheese fridge!

And there’s a lot more to take in below folks!

Cha’s organic coconut milk is something I’d love to have at my home warehouse.

At less than $2.00 per can this one was easy grab to sneak back home.

And Wagyu beef? A whole boneless Kingsway Wagyu rib steak??? I mean look at the marbling in there!

Probably a good thing I can’t take that home with me either…

Of course being in Montreal we’d be fools to not head over to my favorite deli. You guessed it, Schwartz’s Deli!

Just your classic medium fat brisket sandwich on rye, mustard only please. And as always it was delicious. (And nap inducing!)

I’ll let you all go and explore the sales and check out the fun products from the Montreal warehouse folks. See you on Monday, and as always.

Be kind, be safe and stay healthy!

Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.

If there is something you really want, ***double check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.

    • Particularly dairy will not be available outside QC beer too lol. Interesting but not useful this week.

    • Sorry you feel that way Paul, I was on a business trip and figured it would be a fun little adventure for everyone to see whats available in a different Costco warehouse

  1. Thanks for this post. Which Montreal Costco was this? They all have their strengths/weaknesses, their peculiarities.

As an FYI, the the price placard you have for the Bench sandals is incorrect. That placard is for men’s shirts.

    Cheers!

    • Thank you for noticing that Mike, I’ll make sure I fix that. The Costco I went to (that was close to where I was staying was the 300 rue bridge location.

    • Hi Jan, since I was shopping in a Quebec warehouse all price tags are in French. I did this weekend post from Montreal since I was on a business trip here.

  2. Hi, thanks for this Mtl post, have been waiting for Rao’s sauce to be back in stock. Added bonus: reduced price till Sunday!
Noticed Bench sandals price error as well, but all signage in French.
Now that you took these photos, I really see the difference in products between Ontario and Québec, real eye opener!
    Keep up the great work,

    Nadia in Mtl

    • Hi there Nadia, thank you for reading and supporting! I’m glad you enjoyed seeing some of the difference in products, I thought it was pretty cool as well!

  3. Well that was cool…. thanks! It forced me back to my high school French lol. Thank goodness there were pics, oddly some were in English 🤔. I woulda been all over that Starbucks spring blend, the local cider and Kewpie mayo, which I’ve been wanting to try since so many folks seem to think it’s uhmazing. But no luck here.
Hope the rest of your trip went well.
And happy Mother’s Day to all the mums out there! 🌷

    • Hey Jan, I’m glad you enjoyed! (evidently some others did not so much!) The Kewpie mayo did look pretty tempting, and I’ve heard it indeed is! It’s been a great trip so far, lot’s of great food and business! I’ll be back to Ontario tomorrow so the Monday post will be back to normal though.
      Cheers Jan, stay safe!

      • Thanks for sharing these sales while your away. I really enjoy reading your blog. I was wondering why I couldn’t see some of these items at my local Costco 😂. It’s neat how all the different warehouses carry different things.

        • Thank you Kat, I appreciate it! Yes, there’s gonna be a lot of different items here, but Monday’s post will be back to my usual warehouse. Cheers, stay safe!

        • I was very well behaved Jan! I bought the Coconut milk, a tin of the Illy espresso beans, a different marinara sauce (!!!) and a pack of goat milk bar soap. So overall I was pretty well behaved!

  4. Hi there,
Thanks for this post. So many people I know lament what we don’t get here in Quebec that it helps us appreciate what we actually do have that others do not 🙂
Glad that you are enjoying your trip here.
Happy Mother’s Day to all those with reason to celebrate!

    • Happy Mother’s day to you too Sam, and thank you for reading and commenting! I certainly have a better idea of what I’m missing at the Montreal Costco’s now… Guess I’ll need to take more trips!

  5. Quebec Costco always has a good assortment of wine and beer, it would be wonderful if we in Ontario could enjoy such an offering.

I often try to visit Costco in Quebec or the U.S. when possible, always both fun and bittersweet to see all they get that we are missing out on.

    • Oh man, it’s probably a good thing my local warehouse doesn’t have wine, beer or the cheese that this one did… I might never leave!

  6. Thanks for the post; it’s very much appreciated. Fans should note that the Blog is titled, “Costco East – Ontario, QUEBEC and the Maritime provinces”. We try to get to a Montreal Costco about 2 or 3 times a year and like to buy items not available in Ottawa. The Pointe Claire store is the closest Montreal location for us and we quite like the selection. Even the store in Gatineau, Quebec has some items not available anywhere in the Ottawa area. As for the signage in French — well, it’s pretty basic vocabulary and the product is right in front of you! Canada is a multi-cultural country for heaven’s sake!

  7. Bench sandals was still 14.99 (after $4.00 off).
Goober peanut butter and jelly was $6.99 – $4.00 but expire soon. At the overlea Toronto location

Can you tell me which location you visited. The bench sandals price is great at the one you visited

Love your website. I’m Costco obsessed so naturally obsessed by your site

    • Thank you Kong! Usually I shop at the Kingston, ON. warehouse, but I was out on business in Montreal so I went to their 300 rue bridge warehouse for a little fun!

  8. Thank you so much! Because of this post, I looked for the Cha’s organic coconut milk at the Barrie store, and they have it! Yay! That’s a fantastic price.

    • Thank you Jo-Anne, I’ve heard they have it there as well… I’m jealous of your Gas station as well.

  9. Thanks for this different post – makes me want to drive straight to Quebec for all those different cheeses! Maybe I will build in some time for a Costco run when I visit Montreal in July.

    • Karen I believe you should! I had so much fun visiting the Montreal warehouse, there was so much new and exciting stuff to see!!! Thank you for enjoying the post!

  10. Thanks for all your work! Truly appreciate the time you take to share these posts. It was wonderful to see the products that different Costcos have. Take care and stay blessed.
