Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Kirkland Signature Peanut Butter Pretzels, Costco Kirkland Signature Chicken and Waffle Kit and the Costco Desserts on Us Laceys Macadamia Milk Chocolate Cookies.

I recently saw that they were sampling these Welch’s Fruit and Yogurt Snacks at my Costco and decided to pick up a box to try after I witnessed a few people raving about them. The box has 36 packs and I paid $16.99 Canadian for it.

There are two different kinds in the box, strawberry as well as blueberry acai. Each pack has 12 yogurt covered fruit balls. These are great for any snack box or lunch bag and they’re school-safe. The expiry date is 11 months from when I bought them.

One package contains 70 calories, one and a half grams of fat, 15 grams of carbohydrates, zero grams of fibre, 12 grams of sugar and 35 milligrams of sodium. The ingredients list has milk listed in the yogurt coating ingredients if you’re following a dairy-free diet but they’re gluten-free and do have real fruit puree in them.

These are really good! Not only does my toddler absolutely love them but my husband and I also find them really addictive. The yogurt coating makes them slightly harder on the outside than other fruit snacks but the inside is nice and chewy. The yogurt also cuts the sweetness with the creaminess and tang. Both flavors are really good, the strawberry is less sweet than the blueberry acai.
