Natalie reviews: Lamontagne Milk Chocolate Cashews with Pink Himalayan Salt

Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Kirkland Signature Creole-Style Jambalaya, Costco Anahola Granola and the Costco Ruprecht Irish Stew.

If you like my reviews for Costco food products, the best thing is that you can follow me on Instagram or Facebook and tell your friends about my blog Costcuisine, where I review new Costco food products each week! You can also check out my YouTube channel, where I do video reviews!

I bought these chocolate-covered cashews on a whim last weekend after trying other Lamontagne products and really enjoying them. I paid $12.99 Canadian for the 850-gram bag.

The bag reseals which is great for keeping the cashews fresh and the best-before date is 17 months from when I purchased it. These are great for a candy dish or could be used to decorate or cake or even put in cookies.

There are 210 calories, 13 grams of fat, 23 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fibre, 19 grams of sugar, three grams of protein and 45 milligrams of sodium in seven chocolate-covered cashews. Although these are chocolate coated cashews the bag states they may contain other tree nuts.

This is pretty good chocolate, it tastes like high-quality chocolate and is smooth and sweet. The cashews seem to pair really well with the chocolate and they’re not super hard which is nice. These are pretty addictive so if you like chocolate-covered nuts (especially cashews) you’ll like these! They’re simple, there’s nothing special about them but they’re definitely tasty for a chocolate-covered nut.

Cost: 8/10

Convenience: 10/10

Nutrition: 3/10 (Points for the nuts)

Taste: 8/10
