Welcome to the Costco Weekend Sales Update where I’ll keep you in the loop on all the awesome sales Costco releases for the Weekend! I’ll post them here and on our Facebook page for you to enjoy.
And with it, of course, are the new items and weekend sales to enjoy.
While there are some new items, don’t forget that you still have a few days to stock up on the last batch of sales ending on Sunday.
So if you’re like me, and likely Jan in Waterdown, you’d have grabbed a White Linen marinara sauce or two on sale for $8.49 to make sure you’re stocked up and not running out before they go on sale again!
Or, like myself, another pack of the Charmin Ultra Soft for $5.20 off.
No toilet paper is on sale in the flyer for next month, so I figured now was as good a time as any right? Just in case…
(it’s a joke obviously)
And if you’re thinking of quitting smoking now or in the near future, Stock up Nicorette products while they’re on sale for $15.00 off.
As I’ve said every time those are on sale, quitting smoking was one of the best things we’ve ever done, and also one of the hardest things we’ve ever done, so any tool you can have to help is a good thing.
Speaking of good things, how about some of the sales happening this weekend?
Brookstone electric heated throw 50″ x 60″ -$10.00 @ $34.99
Conair The Know Dr. hot air brush -$10.00 @ $39.99
Hockey Canada 72″ hockey net -$25.00 @ $104.99
RX bar protein bars 14 x 52g -$5.00 @ $18.99
Cheetos Mac n’ Cheese 12 x 170 g -$7.00 @ $9.99
Glasslock food storage set 26 pieces -$6.00 @ $23.99
Right about now that Brookstone heated throw seems like it would’ve been a good thing to bring home.
The Sunbeam King size heating pad would be good as well.
But it’s only 12″ x 24″ for $29.99 and the brookstone heated throw is 50″ x 60″ for $5.00 more, so I think the Brookstone heated throw wins that battle hands down, unless I’m missing something special about the Sunbeam heating pad???
I do love me some Cheetos, and I do love Mac n’ cheese, and Cheetos Mac n’ cheese is on sale for $9.99.
But I have to admit that when it comes to indulging in some good ‘ol comfort food Mac n’ cheese, Kraft Dinner will always be the winner.
(Couldn’t resist… You knew I was gonna toss that one in there!)
No offense to Cheetos, (as you can see above) I know it ain’t easy bein’ cheesy, but sometimes you just gotta admit you’re out of your league. (I hope that’s not too harsh Cheetos, I’m sorry!)
I mean I know to stay out of the yoga realm… I leave that to Ewok.
Speaking of which, you all had some great yoga pose names for Ewoks moves earlier in the week.
splayed cleaning pose
stick m’ up
Downward kitty
Kitty warrior
toe beans to the sun
…
I think they’re all great, though “Splayed cleaning pose” may be my favorite. How about “Beans on parade”???
I might do a poll next week on this, so if anyone would care to add to the list you’ve got 2 days to add your comments!
All this talk of Ewok and his cute toes means it’s time for me to go. Enjoy the sales everyone, and as always I’ll be seeing you soon!
I think it’s important to remember that we’re not out of the corona virus weeds yet, and each province has their own Health recommendations based on the provinces individual risk assessment and I would recommend that you follow the recommendations for your specific province. Information can be found at the following websites.
So there you go, a little reading material for you.
Be kind, be safe and stay healthy!
Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.
If there is something you really want, ***double check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.

Pleased to see tat the View History buttons are back.
Also see a new Add to List button. Cool, but was wondering where this list would be until I got down to the bottom of the page.
A couple of suggestions regarding the List.
1. A short write up about it at the top of the blog
2. Include the Add to List button on the View History Page
3. Include a View List button at/near the top of the blog
4. Configure the View List button to spawn a new tab like the View History buttons do rather than opening in the original tab
5. Provide a View History option for items in the List (new tab).
What would also be really cool (if possible and obviously only for product that is on costco.ca) would be a link to the item number on costco.ca – especially for tech, kitchen appliances etc make it a whole lot easier to view the specs.
Thanks for these bi weekly reviews of the Costco deals – always 1 of my first stops on Tuesday and Saturday mornings
Seems like there is a bug in the Print/Mail options of the list.
While it is cool that I can add my other Costco shopping items (not on sale) to the list, when I either print or email the list, these are not included. That is the output only includes the items that I added to the list from within the blog.
If I add items and then return to the list – the added items are gone.
However if I have closed my browser and restarted it again the list off items added from within the blog persists. So that is good.
Wondering what will happen next week. Will my list still be there. If it is, great if there are items that I still want to purchase. But if I have purchased all items or discounts have expired, would be nice if there was a delete all option as opposed to deleting them 1 at a time.
Another nice to have feature on the list would be to be able to save my regular items (milk, bread, eggs etc) such that they always appear in my list until specifically remove them.
Never the less a really cool feature and I plan to shop from it today.
Heating pads are placed underneath you (think mattress pad) and are typically used for therapeutic purposes, eg, to relieve back or hip pain. They provide more concentrated heat and are heavier and more rigid than a throw. Totally different purpose than a throw.
How do I register so that “MEMBER SIGNIN” recognizes me? I am subscribed to your emails, but apparently that doesn’t make me a member. I don’t see any way, anywhere on this site, to register. Thanks for any help.
Hey Larry, so you are signed up to receive the email notifications I would imagine, but the “member sign in” is a feature that is still in the works for the near future.
Thanks for your help. I am now getting your emails. How do I get your page on Facebook? That’s where i originally saw it through my group membership on the Kingston Costco page. But i only see your page occasionally there, not Tuesday and Saturday and i don’t want to miss any of your suggestions cause they are great!

Love your posts, the improvements are great!

What section of the store would I find the baton rouge flip steak??
