In this weeks special edition I took a look through the Appliances and cookware aisles.
If you’re in the need for a new coffee maker they’ve got that.
Vacuum cleaner? Yes indeed!
Washer and dryer? Check.
New pots and pans, knives and cutting boards? (some of my favorite fun toys to look at!)
Obviously!
Scroll down and check out all the goodies folks, and I’ll be seeing you all very soon!
Be kind, be safe and stay healthy!
Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.
If there is something you really want, ***double check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.

I think it’s dangerous for you to go through the cookware dept. Lol . But thanks .
(And what did you buy?)
Oh it is a worry every time I turn down that aisle… (but I didn’t buy anything, the force is strong with this one!)
Big C sure is carrying lots more big appliances in the warehouse these days. On costco.ca there’s a whole line of fancy Samsung refrigerators with mixed coloured glass and steel doors in emerald green, navy, grey, white, with fancy prices to match!
Thanks for your work, have a chill day tomorrow eh?!
🇨🇦🇨🇦Happy Canada Day!!! 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Thank you Jan, but there is no chill for me… I’ve gotta man the bar tomorrow night, and it’s gonna be probably the busiest day we’ve had in about 3 or 4 years? (potentially record breaking!) But you can have a chill day for me, how about that?!
Oh sorry!! By the time you read this, you’re probably all done in. I hope folks were generous with their tips!
Every day for me is chill…. I’m retired and I can heartily recommend it! 😉
Thanks for doing this for us!
Does anyone have any comments on the Circulon cookware? I’m intrigued by the spouts and self draining lids, but wondering about the set’s durability.
Thanks Sprocket, my pleasure! I’ve had a few people comment that they’ve loved that set, but I’ll ask again this weekend.
Hi Sprocket, I bought this set a few years ago and it’s still going strong. I like the draining lids. The bottoms are quite thick and distribute heat well. I especially like the bronze colour! The current price has definitely gone up (what hasn’t?!) and doesn’t include a small frypan anymore which we really like for frying single eggs. That pan has a few tiny spots where the nonstick surface has gone but it’s not really a problem. I seldom use the smallest saucepan because it’s quite small. I’m very happy with this set and have recommended it to others. And they all go in the dishwasher too. I don’t baby my stuff lol.
Hope this helps!
