Welcome to the Costco Weekend Sales Update where I’ll keep you in the loop on all the awesome sales Costco releases for the Weekend! I’ll post them here and on our Facebook page for you to enjoy.
Hello everybody and welcome to the Costco Weekend Sales update!
It seems like some of you have checked out and are enjoying the “shopping list” feature we’ve added! That’s great!!
Layla Bay, there isn’t a feature to “add other” yet. The list feature only applies to items we’ve taken pictures of and have a database for. So even if I take pictures of everything in the warehouse, I’d have to do that every week to keep the pricing up to date… And I can’t even imagine how long it would take to take pictures of everything in the warehouse… I may have to set up camp in one of the garden sheds for the night! I do plan on tackling every section in the warehouse over time, so eventually you’ll be able to use the search feature for “milk” and it will pop up with the last price I took, but may not be the current price. (if that makes sense???)
Judy Cluett, no a picture is not added just the item number, name, description and price.
I think that keeps things a little simpler and less cluttered for lists.
As I’ve said, anytime we add features or change things up a little bit, please let me know what you think, or if you have any ideas. I’m always open to suggestions!
Right, I’m sure you want to see some goodies from the weekend hunt huh?
Ok Jack, lets do it!
First off, who doesn’t love Ketchup chips??? Ok, well I know that I love ketchup chips and unbeknownst to me Miss Vickies has added to their devious lineup “Sweet & Spicy ketchup chips” for $5.99.
Really? Has Miss Vickie been reading my dream chip flavor diary?? (Not a real thing I promise) As if the Spicy Dill pickle chips weren’t enough she had to bring me to this corner of temptation???
Clearly I wasn’t anywhere near strong enough as I (or course) grabbed a bag, and proceeded to open and feast upon it for the duration of my drive home… Yes folks, they are absolutely delicious and the flavor takes me right back to being a kid.
I also picked up a set of these Henckels cutting boards today.
I love Henckels (you know this) and I’m excited to give their boards a try and see how they match up to the knives… Probably not as sharp???
………
The 3 sizes look great as sometimes you don’t need a big board, and the color coding is good if you’re cautious or OCD and need to use a separate board for meats, veggies etc.
Flowers took their place as well this weekend and a big thanks to Dianne keeping her Flower display beautifully stocked I was able to bring home this bunch of tulips.
And a Calla ceramic garden for $19.99.
Kramer likes his everyday balloons, we like our everyday flowers.
Here’s a few more sales this weekend.
Olay regenerist retinol night cream 2 x 50ml -$11.00 @ $43.99
Christina B Blouse ladies sizes S-XXL -$5.00 @ $13.99
Echelon connect bike EX4S w/1yr subscription -$300.00 @ $999.99
Apple Airpods 3rd generation -$10.00 @ $227.99
I also picked up the Michael J. Fox book.
I skimmed through some of it today in the warehouse and it looked pretty good, so I’m excited to get into it. Anyone out there read it yet???
Of course any post isn’t really complete without the cats. I get called out if I forget to include Dexter and Ewok, and today they were (again) being perfectly cozy and cute on the bed in their usual spots.
Hard to tell if they were a little annoyed by the photo shoot, or very annoyed by the photo shoot.
I think deep down I know the answer… And that’s why they wake us up at 5 a.m.
Speaking of waking up at 5 a.m. I should get to bed so I can get some rest before that happens.
I hope you enjoy the sales this weekend folks, and as always I’ll see you on Monday!
Stay safe, Stay calm, and Costco on!
I think it’s important to remember that we’re not out of the corona virus weeds yet, and each province has their own Health recommendations based on the provinces individual risk assessment and I would recommend that you follow the recommendations for your specific province. Information can be found at the following websites.
So there you go, a little reading material for you.
Be kind, be safe and stay healthy!
Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.
If there is something you really want, ***double check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.

Hey there, I bought the cutting boards just before Christmas after waiting for them to be discounted, which never happened. That said, the price is pretty good and the quality very good, especially compared to my old ones. These are thick and stiff and don’t warp in hot water like thinner ones do and are fine in the dishwasher, so no worries of cross contamination. My only complaint is the little grippy pads on the underside work too well…. 🙄 lol I am being really picky here!
Cheers from sunny freezin’ Waterdown, Jan
Thanks very much for your weekend update, more goodies to add to my list 😀
Speaking of lists and your excellent new feature, what I meant was, after one’s list was completed from your blog, we could add our own necessities at the end to have it all in one place. I certainly don’t expect you to take photos of every item in the warehouse. That would indeed require moving into a garden shed 😀
I just meant that a blank space would come up then we add in our extras to have everything in one place.
I can probably do that by printing it out and, writing it on the paper.
Hey Layla, yep you can, I tried it back when you asked that question before, but it doesn’t stay there if you email the list to yourself. I’m thinking it only remains if you print the list, since the button is “add item to print list”?
Cheers, Jan

Buy them now while on sale and then return the new ones with the original receipt.
Now you have the sale price
Yep, been there, done that.
$21.99 is the regular price…. they’re not on sale.
