Kraft Peanut Butter Ice Cream Bars Review

Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Kirkland Signature Energy Drinks, Costco DJ&A Pickle-Licious Dill Pickle Flavoured Cucumber Crisps, Costco Kirkland Signature Brioche Garlic Bread and the Costco Kevin’s Paleo Cilantro Lime Chicken.

If you like my reviews for Costco food products, the best thing is that you can follow me on Instagram or Facebook and tell your friends about my blog Costcuisine, where I review new Costco food products each week! You can also check out my YouTube channel, where I do video reviews!

Today I’m reviewing the new Kraft Peanut Butter Ice Cream Bars from Costco. Everyone in our household enjoys peanut butter so I wanted to check them out. The box has 12 bars in it and costs $14.99 Canadian.

The bars are all individually wrapped and a decent size. They need to be kept frozen and the best before date is about eight months from when I purchased them. My four year old loved these and so did my husband. They’d be great to bring camping or to have as a treat at home all summer.

In one bar there’s 210 calories, 14 grams of fat, 17 grams of carbohydrates, zero grams of fibre, 15 grams of sugar, three grams of protein and 160 milligrams of sodium. These definitely aren’t healthy and there are quite a few less than ideal ingredients. The bars have milk, peanut, soy.

The bars aren’t as peanut buttery as I expected and are sweeter than I thought they’d be too. The bars are basically a mix of vanilla ice cream and peanut butter. The shell is a peanut butter coating and then there’s vanilla ice cream with swirls of peanut butter. There are peanut fragments on the outside which add some nice crunchy texture. We all enjoyed them!
