It’s been really hot here lately so I needed to make sure my freezer was full of frozen treats like these Baskin Robbins Caramel Ribbon Ice Cream Sandwiches. The box comes with 10 ice cream sandwiches and I paid $18.99 Canadian, which seems a bit expensive.
There are 10 individually wrapped ice cream sandwiches in the box and they need to be kept frozen. The best before date is almost 10 months from when I purchased them. Both adults and children will enjoy these I think!
One ice cream sandwich has 210 calories, seven grams of fat, 35 grams of carbohydrates, zero grams of fibre, 20 grams of sugar, two grams of protein and 130 milligrams of sodium. Although there isn’t any nuts/peanuts listed on the ingredients, the box states these ice cream sandwiches may contain peanuts/tree nuts.
These taste pretty much like any traditional ice cream sandwich with chocolate cookies and vanilla ice cream. What sets them apart is that in the middle of the vanilla ice cream there is a ribbon of caramel. It’s a thin layer of caramel but gives additional sweetness and caramel flavor. The flavor of the ice cream is fine, not Haagen Dazs level but still good. The cookies are chocolate cookies and are quite soft. Overall, I found these enjoyable and will finish my box.
