DJ&A Pickle Flavoured Cucumber Crisps Review

Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Three Bridges Potato Bakes, Costco Kirkland Signature Fully Cooked Crispy Chicken Wings, Costco Kirkland Signature Sprinkle Shortbread Cookies and the Costco Chef Hak’s Garlic Roasted Veggies & Quinoa

If you like my reviews for Costco food products, the best thing is that you can follow me on Instagram or Facebook and tell your friends about my blog Costcuisine, where I review new Costco food products each week! You can also check out my YouTube channel, where I do video reviews!

I found these pickle flavoured cucumber crisps during my last trip to Costco and thought they looked pretty intriguing so I picked up a bag to try. I also find it interesting the company that makes them is based out of Australia. I paid $9.99 Canadian for the 200 gram bag.

The bag reseals which helps keep them fresh and the expiry date is seven months from when I bought them. You could use these as a crunchy topping for casserole, have them alone or put them in a salad, sandwich or wrap.

In 50 grams of cucumber crips there are 200 calories, four and a half grams of fat, 37 grams of carbohydrates, four grams of fibre, 25 grams of sugar, four grams of protein and 330 milligrams of sodium. After trying these I immediately looked at the back of the bag to see how much sugar there was and felt shocked to see the sugar content!

I tried these with both my mom and dad when they stopped over and I didn’t like them but my dad really did. I immediately thought they taste way too sweet, almost candy sweet and I like a tangy, vinegary dill pickle flavour. The dill pickle flavour is overpowered by sweetness. My dad didn’t find them too sweet and thought they’d be good on a sandwich.

Cost: 7/10

Convenience: 10/10

Nutrition: 0/10

Taste: 5.5/10

  1. These look and sound incredibly gross. šŸ˜ I can’t even begin to imagine putting them on a sandwich!
