I was looking for a healthy snack option for my three year old during my last trip to Costco and decided to give these Mush Minis a go. The box comes with 20 bars and I paid $22.99 Canadian.

The bars need to be kept refrigerated and the best before date is three months from when I bought them. They’re a really nice snack size so they’re great for kids and since they’re individually wrapped they’re easy to pack in a lunch!

There are two kinds of bars in the box, chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate chip. Only the amount of sodium and sugar vary slightly between the two kinds. The bars are not nut free and contain milk protein.

We tried these as a family and all really enjoyed them. They remind me of eating of an oatmeal cookie but in a bar form. They’re not too sweet and the texture of the bars is really nice and soft. The peanut butter flavor is delicious and very strong but you don’t really notice the chocolate chips. The double chocolate chip is nice and chocolaty. As a protein bar, these are excellent!
