Natalie reviews: Loacker Mini Tortina

Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Le Chic Patisserie Heart-Shaped Macarons and the Costco Chateau Fougeres Garlic & Cheese Pull Apart Brioche.

If you like my reviews for Costco food products, the best thing is that you can follow me on Instagram or Facebook and tell your friends about my blog Costcuisine, where I review new Costco food products each week! You can also check out my YouTube channel, where I do video reviews!

I was pretty excited to try these cookies based on their description “milk chocolate enrobed wafter with hazelnut cream” so I grabbed a bag. I paid $16.99 Canadian for the 378 gram bag which isn’t cheap!

Each cookie/chocolate that comes in the bag is individually wrapped making them easy to share or pop in your lunch bag. These are a product of Italy and the best before date is about eight months from when I bought them.

There are 150 calories, nine grams of fat, 14 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fibre, 11 grams of sugar, three grams of protein and 30 milligrams of sodium in three tortina. The tortina has hazelnuts, wheat, barley, milk and soy in it and may contain almonds, peanuts, sesame, rye and mustard.

These are a light and crispy cookie with a nice chocolate hazelnut filling. They’re moist and flavorful and kind of melt in your mouth. The hazelnut filling complements the chocolate well. They’re quite addictive and I’d absolutely buy them again!

Cost: 6.5/10

Convenience: 10/10

Nutrition: 2/10

Taste: 9/10
