Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Duso’s Turkey & Brie with Cranberry Ravioli and the Costco TGI Fridays Loaded Potato Skins.

I love chicken soup when it gets colder so when I saw this new chicken noodle soup at Costco I picked up a box to try. The box comes with six soups and I paid $13.99 Canadian.

The soup can be microwaved or heated on the stove and the best before date is over a year from when I bought it. This can be easily packed in a lunch to bring to work or is ready in minutes at home, it’s very convenient!

In a cup of soup there are 100 calories, one and half grams of fat, 13 grams of carbohydrates, zero grams of fibre, three grams of sugar, eight grams of protein and 730 milligrams of sodium. Just remember a cup is not equivalent to one container of soup. The ingredients list is pretty simple and short.

This soup is tasty, I like it and I’d buy it again. The broth is quite flavorful and thicker than other chicken noodle soup broth I’ve had. There’s not a ton of chicken but there’s enough and the chicken that’s there are large chunks of nice meat. There are onions, celery and carrots in the soup that are small, soft and flavorful. The noodles are little shell noodles, a bit soft for my liking but still really good.

Well this sounds doable! I remember when Costco made chicken noodle soup using the leftover rotisserie chicken…. it was delish! I was so disappointed when they stopped making it. I am surprised (shocked?) by the best before date being so long!? 🤷🏼
