Welcome to the Costco Weekend Sales Update where I’ll keep you in the loop on the awesome sales & new items Costco releases for the Weekend!
***This is a fan-run, independent page with no affiliation or endorsement by Costco Wholesale***
Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.
If there is something you really want, ***double-check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.
I’ve been seeing it all over Facebook today, and yes we have them in Kingston. The Taylor Swift The Tortured Poets Department anthology LP.
It’s too bad Costco doesn’t sell more LP’s, cause I’d be spending a lot more time in the warehouse flipping through them… Actually maybe that’s a good thing they don’t! Though I agree with Jan, I really wish our Costco still sold books here… I know some of them still do, but not mine.
What we do have though are these awesome deluxe wooden board games. They come out every year, just good ‘ol classics but on wooden, rotating cabinets. Who doesn’t like a game scrabble, right?!
Now if only they’d make a deluxe Boggle set.
As most of you did, we got plenty of snow a few days ago. And when I went to scrape it off my windshield before work yesterday one of my windshield wipers decided that was the perfect time to get my day started on the right foot, and broke off… No better way to get going, running a bit late, scrapping the windshield and then *snap!*.
Captain Kirk knows how I felt… Luckily Michelin wiper blades are on sale, so one of those made it’s way into my cart. (Just not the car yet, that’s a tomorrow morning kind of task.)
This great little multi purpose worktable/sawhorse is on sale for $30.00 off, and it looks pretty cool. You can adjust the height, it’s got built in removable clamps, and folds up so great for saving space. I might actually consider grabbing a couple of these this weekend while they’re on sale. You never know you need a sawhorse until you need one and don’t have one!
And who would I be not to mention 2 of my favourite cheeses being on sale?
I love Boursin, and it’s always out whenever we have little family gatherings, so I like having it on hand. (Plus, it’s great even just spread on toast!) And that Kerrygold Irish cheddar is one of our favourites, just that perfect mix of sharp & rich without being too bitey, if you know what I mean.
Alright folks, enjoy your browsing. I’m off to bed so I’ll see you soon.
G’night!
Don’t forget to head over to Cocoquebec.ca to check out what Melissa has got going on in the Quebec region!
Well I finally broke down and bought the V15 Dyson this week, mostly because our vintage one finally broke down and refused all repairs. Plus a $200 price reduction that ended on the 5th was another big motivation! At $770 that’s probably the biggest purchase I’ve made 🤔 there. That’ll boost my yearly executive rebate!
Cheers from Waterdown…. it’s going up to 7C next week. So weird eh?!
Thank you. You had me at the kalettes/mini kale. When the sample lady cooked some up a while ago, it was so tasty. And when on sale, tastes even better. lol. Story time: I am picking up my kalettes. 4 packs. I am in the produce ‘fridge’. A lady looks confused. She picks up spinach. Puts it back. Picks up another veg. Puts it back. Rinse and repeat. I ask her if she does not know what to buy. She says yes. She says husband just has a heart attack and doctor said he must eat better, when he comes out of the hospital. Showed her the lovely purply kalettes. She says, hey, he likes kale. Picks up two. Says thanks.
When I retire, I want to be able to move close to a Costco. Walking distance. So I can go every day. Not to spend. To walk 10,000 steps. And to get the yummy samples. lol. Or a part time job at Costco. So I can buy their stock. It’s about $900 Cdn/share.
Great story Ilona…. love that!
Have you ever worked retail? Don’t do it. I did after I left my 20+ year customer service career at a major telecommunications company (cough, starts with B, cough). It’s a real eye opener. The good part was I didn’t need the job, so I didn’t take a crap from anyone lol.
I’ll check out the kale, thanks!
Yes. I have worked retail. Major grocery chain. King’s choice? President’s choice? Had been sworn at, spat at and we were followed leaving closing the store one night. But good stock purchase option for staff, get to sample lots of new foods, helped opened 6 stores and met some really nice customers 🙂 Now, health related job. Douggie F is my ultimate boss 😛
