Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Kirkland Signature BBQ Pork Rib Ends with Baked Potatoes, Costco Smucker’s Uncrustables, Costco Kirkland Signature Orange Liqueur and the Costco Raybern’s Philly Cheesesteak.

I wanted a new packaged cookie to try and picked up these St Michel La Petite Galette Chocolate Chip Cookies. The box comes with 200 cookies and costs $17.99 Canadian. That’s a lot of cookies but keep in mind they’re very small, so I wouldn’t say the box is cheap.
I was really surprised to find that each cookie is individually wrapped! The fact that they’re individually wrapped makes them easy to pack in a lunch box or bag and they also make a unique candy dish offering! The packaging may be a bit excessive to some. The best before date is about ten months from when I purchased them.
Nine cookies have 150 calories, five grams of fat, 22 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fibre, 10 grams of sugar, two grams of protein and 95 milligrams of sodium. The ingredients list contains wheat, milk, soy and egg and may contain tree nuts and sesame.
I found the texture of the cookies varied from cookie to cookie, some were crunchy and others were soft. They’re quite buttery and also have a strong chocolate flavor. They taste kind of like a premium small chocolate chip cookie, like you’d get at a fancy restaurant with your bill. They’re very tasty and everyone who I’ve offered these to enjoys them.
Cost: 7/10
Convenience: 5/10 (So convenient but I see the packaging as a bit excessive).
Nutrition: 1/10
Taste: 9/10
Bought them for $4.99 at warehouse in GTA over the weekend.
