Natalie reviews: Violanta Oat Cookies

Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Kirkland Signature Sourdough Bread and Costco Kirkland Signature Chicken and Grain Chopped Salad.

If you like my reviews for Costco food products, the best thing is that you can follow me on Instagram or Facebook and tell your friends about my blog Costcuisine, where I review new Costco food products each week! You can also check out my YouTube channel, where I do video reviews!

I saw these cookies at Costco the last time I was shopping and decided to try them! They look pretty tasty on the packaging and they’re a product of Greece which I found interesting! I paid $9.99 Canadian for the 540 gram box.

There are three sleeves of cookies in the box and there are six cookies in each sleeve. The sleeves of cookies don’t reseal so you could transfer them to a separate container or cookie jar to keep them fresh. These work as a snack with coffee or tea or dessert!

In one cookie there are 170 calories, 11 grams of fat, 15 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fibre, four grams of sugar, two grams of protein and 190 milligrams of sodium. The cookies have Greek yogurt as an ingredient in the filling!

I really like these cookies, they’re nice and crispy and crunchy at first but then melt in your mouth. The cookie part definitely tastes like oats and has a pleasant flavor. The inside filling has a noticeable tang from the yogurt and also is quite sweet with a vanilla flavor. I like how much filling the cookies have! I think these are the perfect cookies to have with tea and I would definitely buy them again!
