Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Yummy Doh Raw Cookie Dough, Costco Kirkland Signature Cinnamon Apple Cake, and the Costco Cuisine Adventures Mini Sausages.

I went to Costco this week and saw these festive looking cookies that I wanted to try. I noticed they were nut-free so I could also pick up a container for my daughter’s daycare. I paid $11.99 Canadian for the 672 gram container.

The best before date on the cookies is a couple months from when I purchased them which I found a bit surprising. I pop them into my freezer knowing I won’t be able to eat the container in a timely fashion and cookies like this usually thaw just fine. They’re great as a snack or a sweet dessert and are perfect to bring to the office or school during the holiday season to share.

In two cookies there is 170 calories, 10 grams of fat, 19 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fibre, eight grams of sugar, two grams of protein and 85 milligrams of sodium. That’s less sugar than I expected for two cookies. I also really like that these cookies have butter listed instead of oil or margarine.
These are actually quite tasty little cookies! They’re buttery and melt in your mouth. If you like shortbread I think you’ll enjoy them. The white chocolate isn’t too noticeable but the sweetness and chewy texture coming from the cranberries is. I shared them with family and they all thought they were pretty good.
