Natalie reviews: Probiotic Yoggies

Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Nature’s Valley Protein Granola and the Costco Jane’s Lighty Dusted Sole.

If you like my reviews for Costco food products, the best thing is that you can follow me on Instagram or Facebook and tell your friends about my blog Costcuisine, where I review new Costco food products each week! You can also check out my YouTube channel, where I do video reviews!

I saw these new Yoggies Snacks at Costco and decided to pick up a bag to try. There are 4 individual snack packs in the bag and I paid $13.50 for the bag. That’s not cheap but there are quite a few nuts in each pack so that’s likely why they’re a bit more expensive.

The best before date eleven months from when I purchased the bag. Each pack is the perfect size to pack in your purse, backpack, lunch bag or gym bag. Since there’s nuts in the trail mix, these aren’t school safe although kids may really like them.

One pack has about 130 to 140 calories, eight to nine grams of fat, 13 to 14 grams of carbohydrates, three grams of fibre, eight to nine grams sugar, three to four grams of protein, and five to 10 milligrams of sodium. The trail mix contains milk, soy, peanuts, hazelnuts, almonds and cashews and may contain peanuts and may contain wheat, egg and sesame.

There are two kinds, lemon berry and mixed berry. I don’t notice much difference in flavor between the two. These snack packs are basically dried fruit, yogurt covered dried fruit and nuts/seeds. The nuts aren’t salted so they’re pretty bland tasting. This is definitely a mix that’s more on the sweet side. There’s nothing special about the trail mix, I guess the added probiotics are a postive but taste wise they taste like any dried fruit, nut trail mix.
