Natalie reviews: O’sole Mio Ravioli with Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese and Ricotta Boursin

Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Spice Mantra Chicken Curry & Rice, Costco Kirkland Signature Pork Schnitzel Dinner and the Costco Cuisine Adventures Rolled Tacos. I also reviewed the Costco Halloween Candy options available!

If you like my reviews for Costco food products, the best thing is that you can follow me on Instagram or Facebook and tell your friends about my blog Costcuisine, where I review new Costco food products each week! You can also check out my YouTube channel, where I do video reviews!

Boursin cheese is something I always love to have around the holidays so when I saw this ravioli with Boursin in the filling I knew I had to try it.

I paid $11.99 Canadian on sale for the two 400-gram packs of ravioli. One pack is probably enough for two people and two packs would feed a family of four.

The ravioli is done in just minutes and is a simple, convenient, filling dinner. I paired my ravioli with a simple butter sauce because I didn’t want to overpower the flavor of the ravioli with a tomato sauce, but I think a tomato sauce or alfredo sauce would also work well with this. The best before date is just over a month from when we purchased the ravioli, and I think you could probably freeze it if you’re not going to use it by the expiry date.

A 1 1/2 cup serving contains 500 calories, 26 grams of fat, 50 grams of carbohydrates, three grams of fibre, five grams of sugar, 19 grams of protein and 500 milligrams of sodium. The ingredients list is pretty short and sweet, the ravioli contains wheat, milk and egg.

I’m glad I paired the ravioli with a plain butter sauce because I really got to taste the flavors of the ravioli. The filling is very tasty and has a strong, distinct herb and garlic flavor. My only complaint is that I wish there was a bit more filling, I found there so much more pasta than filling. Overall, I really enjoyed this I just wish there was more of the yummy Boursin!

Cost:7.5/10

  1. I think this ravioli is pretty tasty and super easy. After trying it the first time with just evoo and Parmesan, I switched to sautéed onions and mushrooms with White Linen marinara sauce, fresh basil, shredded Parmesan and toasted pine nuts!!!! Good enough for company imho 😋
