Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Dole Whip and the Costco Ajinomoto Tokyo Style Shoyu Ramen with Chicken.

I paid $16.99 Canadian for the 567 gram bag of oat clusters, which definitely isn’t cheap, it’s pretty expensive for what you get but the price is similar to other snacks at Costco.
The bag reseals and the expiry date is a little less than a year from when we purchased them. These Snappers are a crunchy, sweet snack that’s perfect in the afternoon or after dinner. There are all different sized clusters in the bag so you can eat a small bit or a lot!
There are 160 calories, four and a half grams of fat, 13 grams of carbohydrates, two grams of fibre, eight grams of sugar, two grams of protein and 50 milligrams of sodium in two clusters. These are dairy-free but not gluten or soy-free. They also contain tree nuts. The ingredients list is not healthy with sugar being the common ingredient listed multiple times.
To be honest, I don’t like this variety of Snappers and wouldn’t buy them again. The picture of the cluster on the bag looks nothing like what the clusters in my bag actually looked like. These are much different tasting than the other Snappers I’ve tried. They aren’t really chocolaty and taste like granola. The flavor of the blueberries is also really strong, artificial and overpowering so you can’t really taste any chocolate.

Hmmmm…. “Chocolatey”? Nope. Not chocolate 🙄.
Thanks for your review. I won’t be spending my calorie stash on that. I’ll save them for something yummy (like Biscoff cake!!) 😋
I was not a fan of these, either, and I am very addicted to the “original” variety, the ones with caramel and chocolate, over the pretzel bits. Those are great, and they are so very yummy! I love the little pretzels – i wish them to be for÷ver available.
