Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Cuisine Adventures Puff Pastry Bites and the Costco Castello Whipped Dip.

I love checking out European products at Costco (especially chocolates and cookies) so when I saw these Coppenrath Biscuits during my trip to Costco this past week I couldn’t resist buying a box. The 1.6 kg box has six 200 gram packs of cookies and costs $24.99 at Costco.

Each 200 gram pack is resealable which I’m a fan of. The best before date of the biscuits is about eight months from when I purchased them. There are three kinds of biscuits in the box Cairo, Manila and Toledo.

The nutrition facts differ depending on the variety of cookie. The hazelnut cookies have the most calories and the coconut ones have the least calories. The cookies contain wheat, milk, eggs soy and hazelnuts and may contain other tree nuts.

I tried all three kinds of cookies, I usually prefer chewier, softer cookies but these are dry and crispy but still enjoyable. For a packaged cookie they’re pretty enjoyable. The coconut is my favorite. The hazelnut cookie is quite sweet with a noticeable hazelnut flavor. The coconut cookie has a strong coconut flavor and is less sweet than the hazelnut. The cookie with sprinkles doesn’t have much flavor just a hint of chocolate from the sprinkles.
