Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Lucia’s Mexican Style Pork Carnitas and the Costco Stoney Creek Steak Bites.

Today I’m reviewing a product that I recently found at my Costco and was excited to see. The peanut butter and cookie dough Mid Day Squares. I was a bit shocked at the price, $19.99 Canadian for 12 squares but I picked them up anyways.
Each square is individually packaged which means these are easy to grab and go! They do need to be kept refrigerated so they’re not something you can stockpile in your desk at work or keep in your purse for weeks on end. The expiry date is about three months from when I purchased them.
The squares are small but packed full of calories from healthy ingredients. One square is 170 calories and 13 grams of fat. They have a bit of protein, fibre and small amount of sugar too. The ingredients list is what makes these squares amazing. They’re full of nutritious, clean ingredients.
There’s a cookie dough flavor and a peanut butter flavor. I like them both a lot but prefer the peanut butter, it’s really good and tastes just like eating a healthier/dark chocolate version of a Reese’s peanut butter cup. The cookie dough flavor is fine, you mainly taste the dark chocolate but the cookie dough is the slightest bit chalky. If you’re trying to eat clean but have a sweet tooth, these are definitely worth buying.
