Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco The Grain Escape Hamburger Buns, RealGood Foods Chicken & Pepper Jack Cheese Burritos and the Costco Kirkland Signature Tiramisu Scoop Cake.

I’m testing out different Halloween candy from Costco and was curious about this variety pack of Dairy Milk mini bars!
There are 37 mini bars in the bag and I paid $11.49 for the bag, which in my opinion isn’t bad! We actually only had 36 mini bars in our bag because one of the wrappers was sealed full of air instead of chocolate!
The bag of bars is resealable and each bar is individually sealed. I also loved how each mini bar is shaped and sectioned just like a full size chocolate bar so you can break mini pieces off. I went through the whole bag of bars and am happy to report that there is an equal amount of each kind of bar in the bag.
The mini bars don’t seem so mini when you look at the calories, each bar is about 200 calories and 11 to 14 grams of fat. There’s 18 to 23 grams of sugar in the bars and 20 to 24 grams of carbohydrates in the bars. If you’re celiac or following a gluten-free diet you’ll be happy to know there isn’t any gluten/wheat listed as an ingredient.
Lucky me! I tried all four different kinds so I could review them. The plain Dairy Milk is just a pretty tasty mass produced chocolate. If you’ve had any of the Cadbury chocolate bars you know the quality of the chocolate is rich and smooth. Hazelnut has big chunks of hazelnuts in it and the hazelnut flavor is strong. The flavor of the hazelnut is more prominent than the flavor of the chocolate but they go together well. The hazelnuts add some crunch as well.
The calories are for 2 bars, each bar is 100 calories.
