The Salton electric kettle is on sale for $6.00 off this weekend. We’ve had 2 these for the last 6 years or so and work great…. I mean they only have one job to do, but they do it well.
There’s a fun set of serving bowl on sale as well that will add a splash of colour to your soups and dips!
They’re a nice size too, not too big and not too small. Salsa’s and guacamole seem like they’d be right at home in these!
For the LEGO junkies out there (…including me!) there’s a new TECHNIC set out and does look pretty sweet.
Another throwback to my childhood is the classic Slip n’ slide, of course with summer approaching guess what’s hit the shelves?
This is of course a pretty beefed up version of the original which makes the kid in me very jealous… Maybe they should make an adult version of this???
The pure protein bars are on sale for $7.00 off this weekend, and I’ve been hooked on these ones for a while now so you’d better believe I’ve stocked up!
Another new item that I saw today was the Kirkland Signature California E.V.O.O.
Has anyone tried it before? I’d be curious how it stacks up against an Italian or Greek oil.

The California EVOO is good – very peppery finish which I understand means that it has a lot of anti-oxidants. Very good value for the price which is especially significant these days!
Hi: Re the Salton kettle, here are my 2 cents. Two kettles in 6 years is not much of an endorsement — my cordless electric kettle is metal and has been going strong since 2007. It’s a President Choice model and cost $29.99.

Hey Marie, the two I’ve had are 2 different, and still in action, kettles. That being said Presidents choice products are pretty well fool proof, so I can’t disagree with you there.
The California EVOO is good – very peppery finish which I understand means that it has a lot of anti-oxidants. Very good value for the price which is especially significant these days!
