I walk the whole store for you every Monday when Costco Sale items and Costco Flyer sales are released for the week, then post them here and on our Facebook page.
***This is a fan-run, independent page with no affiliation or endorsement by Costco Wholesale***
Please note: The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog. Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store. An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.
If there is something you really want, ***double-check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.
***First off I’d like to apologize for the slight technical glitch on Friday, somehow over half the pictures I took for the weekend update did not load into the initial post properly leading to only 22 pictures showing up at first. I was able to go back and find the missing ones and add them in later on in the morning though. Thanks for being patient while I got that sorted out!***
It was a great weekend with some delicious BBQ, salads, dips and snacks! And hey, the weather even held out for us!
One of the BBQ treats were the Beyond Meat plant-based burgers.
While I didn’t try it, my partner loved it! Usually the “Beyond” type foods have a bit of an odd chemically taste/smell to them (so I’ve found anyhow) but these ones didn’t & Being gluten-free is a bonus. It’s always good to have another Veggie option available to us, so I picked one up today to have on hand. The only disadvantage is that you need to thaw them fully before cooking, so a little pre-planning is needed.
As I mentioned on Thursday, I decided to pick up a box of the Chef Robert Irving’s protein bars and give them a shot.
Like I did with the Ketchup chips, (and a variety of other snacks I pick up at Costco…) I opened the box and gave one a try right away! It was pretty tasty, very peanut buttery & chocolatey tasting with some crispy bits on the top, very much tasted like a candy bar. That kind of tripped me out a bit, since I’m used to protein bars tasting really dense, or almost chalky. (Know what I mean???) Anyhow, I was happy with it and I think this will be my next tasty protein bar. For the next 17 days at least.
I was asking recently if you all preferred microwaves or air fryers, and it seemed like microwaves were the favourite. I figured I check out the selection at Costco, turns out it’s currently pretty limited! So here’s the 3 available.
Fairly limited options unfortunately, anyone have a favourite out of these 3? I think the LG looks the least intrusive…
Let’s keep up with the comparisons here. I love Chicken wings, who doesn’t? Actually I know lot’s of people who don’t…. I do however, and Costco currently has the Pinty’s crispy chicken wings on sale for $4.50 off.
there are also these 3 available at our location.
I’ve tried the Olympic Southern crunch wings a few times and think they’re pretty good, but I’m always open for a better wing! The Sunrise farms wings look like they’d be pretty tasty, but the Pinty’s wings have a far more delicious looking picture on them… What do you say folks? Any clear cut winner here for you? Ewok awaits your answers!
Anyhow, there’s 231 items to browse through below, so head on down and check ’em out folks! I don’t say it enough but thank you for reading, for commenting and for all your support, I couldn’t do it without you!
Cheers!
Don’t forget to check in with Rhonda over at the Costco Quebec Fan Blog and see what fun sales are happening there!
Thank you for your time and effort.
If you haven’t tried the Fanny May S’mores. I would highly recommend you give them a try. They are so good. Store them in the fridge for the cold crunch! Better buy two bags! 🙂
You’re welcome Valerie, thank you for reading! I haven’ tried them, but constantly look at them and think about tossing a bag in the cart to try ’em out. Maybe I’ll do that on my weekend trip!
The Southern Crunch Wings are really good, they are big and really crunchy. I haven’t tried the others but the salt and pepper ones have been calling my name for quite sometime. I’m going to have to try them.
I just love wings!
I know, I love wings too! I’m sure none of them are bad, just different. I picked up a pack of the Pinty’s wings since they’re on sale, but the Sunrise farms ones did look good too.
Thanks very much for all of your diligent work. It is really appreciated 😊
Just an interesting side note, my first microwave was a Panasonic Dimension Four.
It was purchased in the 90’s and cost $1,000.00 dollars !!!!!
It still works perfectly and cooks food four different ways.
Oh my good golly! In today’s money, that translates to about $2,000.00!!! And I’ll bet it’s really big too. I remember my mum buying hers across the border since there was a big price difference back in the ‘80’s.
It was freekin’ huge!
Hi there, I hope that everyone is doing well. I have a request for one of your Wednesday Super Posts. I’m not sure if it’s been done before but would it be possible to do a post on consumables like tissues & toilet paper, foils & plastic wraps, paper plates, etc?
And, of course, a reminder about gluten free 😉 (only those products with obvious signs from the manufacturer that the product is, in fact, GF … and with a disclaimer from you). I know that your partner is also GF so I would think that you are already on the lookout for such products. You have no idea how much it would be appreciated as I am still quite dependent on others and would love to have a list to go through when someone calls me on the fly that they are at Costco and asks if there’s anything that I want.
Again, thanks for all you do! PS .. That photo of Ewok is priceless!
Hey there Sam, I do go through those aisles and that one is likely going to be coming up either next week, or the week after. It’s always a good idea to check packaging and read ingredients to make sure there is not gluten, always look for the “gluten free” label!
Thank you for reading and supporting, and Ewok always loves the attention so keep it coming!
Not what I meant .. but also very true. 😉
I asked you way back about doing a listing on the obviously marked Gluten Free items so that I (and anyone else who has this restriction) could have something to refer to when someone asks what I (we) need from Costco.
If I (we) don’t know which products are there, I (we) can’t really tell them.
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to go in person to a Costco since WAY before COVID even began due to serious mobility issues so it would be an unbelievable help to know what they have and what new products they get.
It doesn’t have to be in one post. You may be able to get this info as you go through the aisles, bit by bit.
Really, thanks again!
When my 30 yr old Moffat microwave finally died, I bought the .9 cu ft LG from Rona (Costco didn’t carry them) since I had limited counter space and didn’t need/want a bigger one. It looks just like the larger version. I specifically wanted one without a handle or push to open door. It has a really clean and trim profile and works very well. I’d definitely recommend it and would buy again.
Thanks for all you do! 👏
Thank you for that Jan! I agree, I don’t want a massive microwave on the counter with all kinds of buttons and stuff, just like you said- something clean and nice looking.
Is Microsoft Office Home and Student not on discount in the east? I saw it is on discount in the west and web site. I just wondering if it is in the east as well so I could get a price adjustment. I bought it in the store last week 🙁
The Salt n Pepper wings by Sunrise are THE BEST!!! You’ve gotta try them. Way better than Pinty’s IMO.
I thought those ones looked pretty good too Anita, they were #2 on my list. Sounds like you aren’t alone though!
Sunrise Salt & Pepper are the best by far
Second one for Sunrise, looking good for that one so far!
Thank you for your time and effort.

My pleasure Ester, thank you for reading!
Thank you!
No worries Deanna, thank you for reading!
Pinty’s is the Sprocket household favourite, but we havent tried the Sunrise ones yet! Will pick up next time based on today’s reviews.
I just picked up a box of the Pinty’s wings yesterday, so I look forward to trying them!
Thanks very much for all of your diligent work. It is really appreciated 😊

Ah Layla Bay, they just don’t make them like they used to do they?

Hi Estelle, try calling your warehouse, give them the product # from your receipt and they should be able to tell you.
Good luck!
Hey there Estelle, I’m not sure if it is, but I’ll look for it when I go tomorrow for the weekend update!
