In the Wednesday Super Post I pick an entire section of Costco and take pictures of ALL of the items for you see!

Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.
If there is something you really want, ***double-check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.
Some of my favourites are in these aisles as you know, and there are lot’s of great things to look at. Who doesn’t want to have a good quality Wok available to them?
It’s one of those tools that when you need it, you need it and it’s nearly impossible to replace.
Something else I’ve been meaning to get my hands on is one of the Winix air purifiers, I feel like it would be a perfect fit for the room downstairs next to where the kitty litter boxes live. Smells like a good idea to me, and $40 bucks off is never a bad thing.
Well folks, I actually stuck to my word and I picked up the Zwilling vacuum storage system on clearance for $49.97. I am excited yes! It was very neatly and securely packed, which I can appreciate, and wasn’t full of all kinds of unnecessary bubble wrap and stuff like that.
The glass containers are nice and heavy duty feeling, as well as being oven and microwave safe, so that’s a big bonus! The bags feel pretty similar to the Food Saver bags, again nice quality. The addition of a wine sealer is pretty nice too, though I don’t know how many bottle are going to last long enough to need this… A nice addition regardless! I’m not sure when the maiden voyage will happen for my new friend, but I’ll let you know!
We tend to be pretty good about not wasting food, but there are plenty of times this will come in handy. I can think of a few containers of White linen sauce that have gotten moldy, some jars of salsa, cans of beans… Things that if they had an extra 5 or 6 days would have been used. But also being able to quick seal cheese, avocados, cooked meats. I think it’s really going to help us get the most life out of our food. And the part I haven’t even jumped into is that each of the bags and jars have a unique QR code on them so you can scan and keep track of what you have stored on their app… Again, I haven’t even explored that side of things yet, and it was a surprise to me that that was a feature so as soon as I get into that part I’ll let you know… As you can tell I’m pretty excited!
All this said, I’ll never not love my Food Saver vacuum sealer. It just has a bigger footprint, and we can’t just leave it upstairs in the kitchen. So it feels like it’s more of a heavy duty big time portion and freeze kind of thing…When you need the big guns, call up the Food Saver!
I’ll seal this post up here, I’ve dinner on the go and some containers to get washed up and ready to put into action!
Have a great night everyone & see you on Friday.
