Well another beautiful week capped off with some weekend rain to cool things down, I’m ok with that!

Thank you to everyone who participated in my little “survey” last week, I thought it was a lot of fun (for me anyways) and I learned a lot about what you like to see and don’t care much for seeing. One thing I’ll put in right off the hop is that link at the top of the page to allow you all to skip this blog and get right to the good stuff- the sales! My cats (Dexter and Ewok) will be making appearances here, not always, but they will around like it or not people! Now you just have the option to skip it… Though I suggest you don’t as they are pretty cool and cute…  see?

Ewok seems pretty happy to be chillin’ on the table outside right? Yup!!!

So I tried the Freybe Chorizo sausages last week, they were ok… I don’t know that I would buy them again though (overall- I’d rather buy local, and these folks at Seed to Sausage are fantastic!) personally I found the casing to be a little too firm- same with the meat inside.  I just made them with a pretty simple pasta sauce so they didn’t have much to hide behind, I guess I could try making tacos with them and see how that does with avocado slices, fresh Pico de Gallo, tangy cabbage slaw chili lime aioli and cilantro… mmmmm…. well that sounds like I’ll give them a second shot.

Ummm… HUGGIES PULL-UPS are on sale for 31.99 ( 8.00 off) !!!

So are HUGGIES natural care wipes for 26.40 (6.50 off) !!!

It seems like its been a while since those have been on sale, I suspect that’s why stock levels seemed a little low- so stock up (as we say here at Costco East)

Playtex Sport tampons are on sale as well which again for 12.40 ($3.50 off), seems like its been a while so don’t miss out!

I grabbed some of the Avocado Oil because it seems to rarely be on sale and I feel as though I should be using and cooking with better oils. I love E.V.O.O. for salads and a topping for pastas but having avocado oil handy is great as well, it has a different flavor and is bit more mellow than a lot of Extra Virgin Olive Oils… not quite as peppery as some olive oils. I like it, and at 10.99 for 1 litre??? great snag for the pantry in my opinion ( or IMO as they say now I guess, 8 extra keyboard swipes is too much) …. E.V.O.O. and IMOs in the same paragraph… thank god I didn’t LoL or Rotfl, or something otherwise I wouldn’t know what the heck was happening!!!

Zavida organica coffee is on sale again, I love that brand and the taste of that coffee I think more than the Pike Place stuff (though I do like that one)… Hard to place why exactly- it’s just different, maybe a bit more mellow??? Though pike place is pretty mellow, I feel like the Zavida organica one still has a bit more flavor without being too strong….and it’s cheaper… Complicated are the feelings for coffee in this one…

I guess Yoda thinks otherwise… and that’s ok I guess… Maybe when the first thing you want in the A.M. is coffee it shouldn’t matter too much what it is as long as it is not Decaf. I’ll judge coffee less now, and just enjoy it’s fantastic smell and taste when the morning comes.

Which is now evidently… well morning at least… 7 hours till that morning coffee…
