Welcome to the Costco Weekend Sales Update where I’ll keep you in the loop on all the awesome sales Costco releases for the Weekend! I’ll post them here and on our Facebook page for you to enjoy.
How could it not be a happy day when Dexter jumps up on the bed to get his morning snuggles?!
Really, it doesn’t get too much better than that. Although following that up with a cup of coffee and a trip to Costco certainly comes pretty close! Unlike last weekend it was a pretty mellow day at the warehouse, and I’m OK with that!
Lot’s of new items hitting the floors lately, and it was a pleasure to see these Tulips in a vase back again!
That must mean that Spring is not quite in the air, but getting closer to being in the air.
And while not on sale our warehouse did have some of the Hunter Boots available for $109.99.
They were pretty picked over by the time I got to them, and only the red ones were left.
I also noticed that the Jennifer Adams microfiber King & Queen sheet sets were reduced in price again to $29.97 & $24.97.
I was going to grab a set, but then I started wondering what the difference between Cotton and Microfiber was and figured I’d do a bit of research first. Anyone care to share any insights???
And of course you all know I’m a fan of Bose products, and the Soundlink mini II SE bluetooth speaker is on sale for $20.00 off @ $209.99.
One of the many things I like about the Bose speakers is that even the small speakers sound huge and amazing and are well worth the price!
Here’s a little preview of the sales for you.
Lesser Evil paleo puffs 360g -$2.00 @ $6.49
Jetson folding electric bike -$80.00 @ $319.99
Martha Stewart bath runner 24″ x 56″ -$5.00 @ $18.99
Lean ground beef, organic -$4.00 @ $22.99
Danby chest freezer 10.0 Cu. Ft. -$90.00 @ $299.99
Lorex wifi camera 2-pack -$30.00 @ $169.99
The Lodge & Stove veggie chili was a new one this week.
I love my chili, so I’d curious about this one… Especially since it’s gluten free and vegetarian. (not sure if it’s vegan though?) I’ll probably grab some next week, but if anyone has tried this I’d love to hear what you think of it!
this is another new one I’ve been curious about, but am afraid to bring any new condiments or dips home until we go through some of the ones we already have.
I love a cheese dip, this is for sure… But a plant based cheese dip? Does it taste like a cheese dip, or does it taste like a cheese dip trying to taste like a cheese dip? These are the things that keep me up at night…
Yes, perhaps a bit dramatic…
Well, I think on that note, I’m gonna head off to bed. Work will be approaching quicker than I’d like, and I’m sure the kitties will be waking us up at least a few times, so… Off to bed!
See you all very soon!
I think it’s important to remember that we’re not out of the corona virus weeds yet, and each province has their own Health recommendations based on the provinces individual risk assessment and I would recommend that you follow the recommendations for your specific province. So there you go, a little reading material for you.

About the microfibre sheets, I have been buying them since Costco introduced them years ago. They are so soft and wash up nice, they take no time at all to dry. I choose them over my expensive sheets, they come with 4 pillow cases as well. For me with sensitive skin these work really well. For the price it is certainly worth a try.
I love them.

No cat fur issues that we have experienced. Two cats here. Microfiber description is a bit misleading I think? They are like normal sheets, nice tight weave, not stretchy, smooth surface that’s nice to the touch. We have had them for several years from Costco. Also they have never pilled at all!
The queso is good. It doesn’t taste like cheese but it does taste like nachos toppings: peppers, onion, garlic, cumin, chili, with hints of cheese. My partner and our youngest can’t have dairy without consequences so it is a tasty dip option for them.
Cotton is a natural fibre, microfibre is not. It’s likely made of polyester and some other man made fibre. It makes a superior fabric for dusting and cleaning. For me, it’s way too hot for sheets and I don’t care for that silky feeling, although I know others do ☺️. My preference is real linen sheets but they’re bloody expensive. However, I managed to score a set when IKEA was clearing them out and I won’t use anything else. That said, bedding is highly personal so at that amazingly low price, why not buy some and try them out?! Just my 2 cents worth 😉
Cheers from me, Jan
The collapsible laundry baskets – I would not recommend them. I bought 2 of them. They do save space when collapsed, but they do not stand up straight, so you’re losing some of the space.

I’m curious if the milk in your area has gone up. It has gone up in Ottawa but I’m just wondering what the price difference is between regions. I’m specifically interested in the homo milk.

They’re sound lovely though I suspect they would attract cat fur like nobody’s business! 😂
I’ve used them and they didn’t attract any cat (or dog) fur at all. Really like them.

Microfiber feels nice but I find that it doesn’t breathe the way that cotton sheets do. I’ve stopped buying microfiber sheets for that reason.

Oh Dexter ! So cozy .
❤️
We bought the chili and tried some last week, it was pretty good but I felt myself missing the texture of the ground beef.

Thank you,
