Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Scoiattolo Ravioli Carbonara, Costco Kirkland Signature Grilled Chipotle Chicken and the Costco Chipwich Ice Cream Sandwiches.

I’ve seen these Archer Beef Sticks for a while at my local Costco and decided to pick them up to try them for a low carb snack. There are 28 small beef sticks in the bag and I paid $24.99 Canadian which seems a bit expensive to me.

Each beef stick is individually packaged which makes them extra convenient and the best by date is about seven months from when I bought them. These go great with cheese and crackers or on their own. My four year old tried them and wasn’t a fan and prefers the Bellitalia Salami Sticks.

One stick has 45 calories, three grams of fat, zero grams of carbohydrates, zero grams of fibre and sugar, four grams of protein and 200 milligrams of sodium. The ingredients list is just mainly beef and spices/seasonings.

These aren’t as good as I hoped they would be. The texture seems a bit dry. There’s a bit of spiciness I think coming from the cayenne. I know meat sticks like this taste processed but for some reason these ones tasted especially processed. There’s definitely better tasting beef sticks out there.
