Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Kirkland Signature Ginger Beef Stir Fry and the Costco Milton’s Cauliflower Crust Pizza.

I love dill pickle-flavored foods like the Taylor Farms Dill Pickle Salad but I find most of the products I see are “spicy” dill pickle and I’m not a huge fan of spice, just dill pickle. So I decided to try these Dunn’s Dill Pickle Peanuts.
The bag has a ton of peanuts in it, I need to share it with my entire extended family! The cost is $13.99 Canadian which seems reasonable considering how big the bag is.
The bag reseals which is great because it’s going to take me a long time to finish the bag. These are great as a snack in the afternoon or while watching TV. You could also put them out if you’re hosting. The best-before date is about 7 months from when we purchased them.
1/3 of a cup has 300 calories, 23 grams of fat, 13 grams of carbohydrates, three grams of fibre, two grams of sugar, 11 grams of protein and 420 milligrams of sodium. It’s all about portion control! It’s really easy to eat a lot more than 1/3 of a cup, especially if you’re hungry. The peanuts contain milk so are not dairy-free but are gluten-free.
I thought these were just okay! They’re tangy with a touch of heat and a bit of sweetness. They have a very, very, very strong, salty, dill pickle flavor that kind of overpowers the flavor of the peanuts, it’s a bit much. I think if I ate too many of these my tongue would be raw. I think in order to truly enjoy these you have to like dill pickle seasoning a lot.
