Welcome to the Costco Weekend update folks!

As most of you know, I apparently don’t like not working, So before work on Fridays I’ll be heading to Costco to check out all the sales they have added mid-week, then I’ll be posting them when I get home later on at night. (When Ewok would prefer I be in bed)

Ewok, #Cats of Costco

He’s just sitting there making me feel guilty for being up late… Good thing he’s cute.

Anyhoo.

This week as brought us 48 new sales from Energizer batteries, Head active leggings, Ziploc containers, Kirkland signature men’s T-shirt 4pks, to Brita water filters… Kind of a little bit of everything!

I also bumped into a display of these right as I came into the store.

Hunter Boots

This is a great deal, and I’ll say this; the display looked like it had been ravaged! Obviously a popular item, and won’t be around for long so call your local Costco and check inventory levels before you go!

Also a nice display of Calvin Klein Trench coats!

There you go, lot’s of great stuff to stock up on for the weekend folks!

Hopefully you’ve all had a great week. Mine was pretty busy, work as usual and trying to get the house finished up piece by piece. Got a bunch of new shelves put up finally.

shelves

The camera is tilted… Not the shelves, I promise!!!

Ok folks, I’m now going to go and double check the shelves and make sure I”m not too crazy here….

See y’all next week!

Please note:
The price at your local Costco takes precedent (or precedence) over the prices listed on this blog.
Costco liquidation/Manager’s Special items (ending in .97) vary from store to store.
An asterisk (*) on the price tag means the item is not being re-ordered.

If there is something you really want, ***double check the expiry date*** as some Costco sales items do end mid-week.

***This is a fan run, independent page with no affiliation or endorsement by Costco Wholesale***

The food brands available can differ from region to region. Pictures are taken at a store in Ontario. Sale items should apply to Costco locations in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Nova Scotia, if the item is in stock at your store. There will likely be a few deals not shown here in your store. If this blog has helped you save money, consider sharing www.cocoeast.ca with your friends and family! If you see deals at your store that aren’t on this blog, post them in the comments and help spread the money saving love!

  1. Love the shelves! And I always enjoy a good pic of Ewok. 🙂
Looks like all the more reason to head to Costco today—Thanks!

    • Thank you Carla! We got the shelves in Ottawa at a place called “Zone” It was a good deal for decent quality wood. And whats not to love about Ewok right???

  2. You’ve saved me a bunch of money by alerting me to sales. Thank you for that. I’m always a bit disappointed when I know something is on sale at the Kingston Costco but not in Ottawa. Reading this installment of your newsletter I had the opposite feeling when I saw the workbench that I just bought in Ottawa, which was on sale for $25 off at $99.99 was the regular price in Kingston 🙂

    • Wow, 25% off…. that’s a heckuva saving! So many times the discount ain’t huge so I don’t get toooo bent outta shape if I miss it. Cheers from Waterdown!

    • Thank you Jonathan, looks like you win this week huh? I wouldn’t have minded that work bench so maybe a trip back to Ottawa is in the cards soon?

  3. I am here in Newfoundland where we are under a state of emergency…..Costco is closed for the second day in a row…..won’t want to be there when they open their doors 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

  4. Ok. Several unsolicited thoughts aka opinions by me 😏….
    1. those stuffed peppers are quite quick & tasty heated up with “our” sauce on a top and pile of parm
    2. your shelves look great, may I humbly suggest putting the succulents in those cool gray pots for more impact and piling your books horizontally for stability and style (sure hope you don’t mind me saying that, I used to work for an interior designer and sometimes just can’t help sayin’)
    3. those Hunter boots are a great deal, I want them in red!
    4. you’re going to add another visit to the big C?? With all due respect, you are either outta your mind or paying for past misdeeds in a previous life!😁 Either way, I say bring it on!
    Thanks!!

    • Hey there Jan, always looking for advice! I agree with the succulents, and that was actually the plan we just need to get some stones to put in the bottom of the gray vases so they sit up high enough.
As far as doing another post, I’m usually at Costco a few times a week anyhow and there are typically a few extras that pop up mid week so… Why not right?!

  5. Thanks for taking the time to provide your update. We did our weekly family outing to the Etobicoke location today, and – thanks to rave reviews from you and Jan in Waterdown – decided to try out the White Linen Marinara sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by the ingredient list! We ate it tonight with Costco mild Italian sausage over pasta, and it was delicious! I think I will bow out of making my own marinara sauce moving forward; this one is better!

A few other cool (non-sale) items we picked up recently . . . the Puma sweatpants are super comfortable. My husband had a couple of pairs before I picked up my own this past week. Also, since we have a preschooler and find ourselves outside in the winter more and more, we bought the adult Sunice snow pants for each of us. We tested them out yesterday in the snowstorm – we were as dry and warm as can be! Just be sure to go a size (or two!) up, they fit very, very small. And I am super excited to try the “Pack’d” smoothies we bought. The packaging is so beautiful, we couldn’t resist!

Thanks again for all of your hard work, yours is the only blog I read!

    • Hey that’s great Amy! I think I should hire Jan as my Costco food reviewer right? And I agree that those sausages are great (have some in my fridge now) It’s great to hear you’ve found some gems in the clothing department too, you never know what you’re gonna find there.

  6. I too would love to know where you got the shelves! They look great! (Can I also have you decorate them once I get them up?!)
Why on earth do you want to add to your work load and go on Fridays?! lol
Doubt there will be any size 8’s left when I get there tonight so not even going to get my hopes up about the hunter boots!
Thanks as always for all your hard work! 🙂

        • Burlington doesn’t have the boots at all!!! Grrrrrr…. however, they are available on costco.ca for $120 including delivery. 😬

          • Kingston Costco has about 25 pairs left, and surprisingly enough they had some 7’s and 8’s. but I behaved myself and didn’t end up getting a pair as I don’t need them 😩
Hope you enjoy yours Jan!! 😊

    • My pleasure Jennifer! Also when I was in our Kingston Costco today (24th) they still had 7’s and 8’s available… Better get moving!

  7. Omg… I bought those head thights… After seeing your post.. They are A. M. A. Z. I. N. G.
Almost like having tummy control… Love love love them.. Thank you 🤩

  8. Hi there,
Have been on your distribution for some time now – and am ever grateful for it. Can sometimes save me a trip.
I am currently down in Mesa AZ for the winter now and we DON’T have someone like you here – that I am aware of..

But, this is not the purpose of my email – I feel you are ‘in the loop’ somehow and am contacting you re my problem. Don’t think I would be able to find anyone in “COSTCO” to answer my question. It is, ‘is Kirkland 3lb Decaffeinated coffee going to be discontinued? It has been out of stock here for sometime and only decaff coffee available here now is Kirkland beans.. They have grinding machines but the weight is less and price is more.

Have you encountered that in Canada? If so, do you have any info? Thanks for keeping us (armchair( shoppers informed. Sincerely, MLB

    • If only I was doing this in AZ… I’d guess their winter section would be a little different than ours huh?
I don’t know about the coffee Mary Lou, but I’ll investigate when I go on Friday. In the meantime, enjoy all Arizona has to offer you!
